“I had been looking for a used car after my car had fallen apart. All of a sudden Carena motors popped up onto my screen so I looked through all the cars and And found one that I really liked. So I filled out their online credit report and I thought to myself that I will never be able to get it because I had been turned down at at least five other places for a loan. I am 65 years old on Social Security and live Outside Toledo, Ohio in Swanton Ohio. And Carena motors is in Twinsburg Ohio 140 miles away. The next day, a gentleman named Tony called me hey Scott, what can I do for you? I explained and we started the process to try and get this vehicle now he knew I was in a tough spot by what I had told him Tony went over in above with no pressure whatsoever to get this car for me. He said I’ll see what I can do but one way or the other, we will get this loan and sure enough he got it for me. I don’t know how but he did. I have been buying cars for over And have never had a person act like Tony does, professional really caring about the situation and going over and above to get me this car where no one else could. I have never dealt with a Car company where they didn’t pressure you into buying a car they just wanted you to have what you wanted. If anybody is out there looking for a vehicle this is the place to go. Nobody and I mean, nobody in my 65 years of being alive on this planet has ever done this for me like Tony did and Nicole who helped explain the process. And every time I had called to ask questions all of the other guys took the time to know that. It was me on the phone and dealt with me properly not “oh here Scott calling again he’s just being annoying” this is by far the best used car company I have ever dealt with in my life. I highly recommend them to anybody. I now sit in my beautiful car and have a way to go down to North Carolina to see my grandchildren. Thank you, Tony. This meant the world to me.”

“Nicole is the best! I was a little iffy about buying a car online without physically being there to see or drive it. She put my mind at ease and answered all of my questions/concerns. Even worked with me on my goofy work schedule! She's not out to just make a sale- she wants you to be happy with your experience and she did go that extra mile. Got the car + shipping all worked out under budget! The car arrived exactly in the condition they described. No unpleasant surprises or issues!
Tl;dr - No buyer's remorse here, these are good, reputable folks.
Also, this car is pretty great and I love it.”

“My experience with Carena Motors has been nothing but pleasant the whole time!!
I had bought a 2011 hyundai sonata from them just about two months ago and the entire process was so smooth and friendly. As a woman buying a car I am cautious about dealerships and such, but the people working at this business were very kind and helpful the whole time. No pressure to buy a car, no predatory dealer behavior, just some chill people there to help you if you just ask. They are very transparent about their cars and the process they go through, and answered all my questions without judgement. Not only this, but right before I got to drive my car home they did a full inspection and even replaced my oil to make sure I would have a smooth and safe drive home with my new car.
Recently my engine light came on, so I gave them a call and they were able to get me in the next morning! The diagnosis was a loose gas cap and so they replaced that as well as a brake light that’d gone out. They were so kind when I brought my car back in, and I wasn’t charged extra to get the issue fixed. My car was in and out in only a few hours and it’s back to perfect condition. I feel safe and welcomed bringing my car here for maintenance in the future as well as purchasing a car from them again. If you are thinking of stopping by this gem, definitely do it!”

“Carena Motors sold me a structurally unsafe vehicle with failing brakes!
The summary: Carena Motors knows they sold me a vehicle with a damaged (unsafe) frame and failing brakes. They refused to do anything about it.
The whole story: We purchased a used Toyota 4Runner from Carena Motors through Cars.com and had it shipped to our home in Tennessee. It was supposed to be a safe first car for our teen.
When it arrived, we noticed damage to the hood and clear signs of corrosion that had been patched over on the lower panels. In the online photos, this looked like showroom light reflections. We assumed we had missed it and didn’t pursue it further. Disappointed, but we don't make a fuss if we don't have to.
A few months later, the brakes failed without warning! We had to use the emergency brake to stop the vehicle. Thankfully, this happened in a quiet neighborhood and not on the highway or in the mountains, where we had been just days before.
We had the car towed to a trusted repair shop. The mechanic explained that the left rear brake failed due to rust corrosion and the right side was about to do the same.
While the car was on the lift, the mechanic also found something worse. A structural support beam on the passenger side had been recently welded over. This was not a repair that restored safety. It was a weld that fully covered the original metal underneath and prevented anyone from seeing the frame’s true condition. The mechanic asked if the vehicle had a salvage title. He said plainly that the vehicle was not safe and explained that the beam could "accordion" in a crash because of the concealed damage.
We contacted Tony Carena directly. We sent photos, video, and documentation from the repair shop. After some back and forth, the only suggestion we were given was to sell the car to someone else. After that, all communication stopped.
We now own a car we cannot safely drive and cannot ethically sell. The dealership has refused to take responsibility.
If you are not a mechanic or are buying from out of state, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. We trusted Carena Motors and ended up with a dangerous vehicle that never should have been sold in this condition.”

“Wow! Every part of the buying process was amazing! Tony, Nicole and their entire team are truly honest and kind people who really know the in and out of the industry and the vehicles they are selling. Carena Motors has very fair pricing, and they make the buying process incredibly stress free. Coming from Pennsylvania to purchase my vehicle, I was a little nervous about what I would experience but they really went above and beyond! I was buying a pretty regular vehicle, too, and even still they treated me like their most important customer. If you live in Ohio or even Pennsylvania you should be considering the inventory on the lot at Carena Motors; they sell fantastic vehicles in all price ranges. Thank you!”
