“Worked with Ron to purchase a 14 year old Nissan that I could pay cash for. I wasn’t the biggest sale and yet they still treated me like it was. Ron was flexible, informative, and very caring through the whole process. Biggest thing I would suggest to combat any lower ratings is.. do your research. This dealership seemed to do everything possible to make a 14 year old used SUV an absolute gem and they certainly achieved that. Buying used will always come with a risk, but lafontaine does everything they can to alleviate that. I will be looking to them for a new car purchase in the future!”

“I have had an incredibly poor experience not once, but twice with this dealership. My first appointment I picked up my car after I dropped it off on a Thursday morning and they said they would keep it over the whole weekend. Knowing the service would take 2 days, I had to take a whole day off work for an “appointment” which lasted no more than 5 minutes. I was told the diagnostic (not even a repair, simply a diagnostic) would be done within 2 days. After 2 days, I called and was sent to voicemail twice with no returned call. When I finally called again, I spoke with Sean who was rude and condescending. Despite Sean telling me in person the diagnostic would be done within 2 days, when calling he said it hadn’t even been started yet. He would not address any of my concerns and quite clearly accused me of lying about the timeline that HE provided me.He simply ended the call saying a manager would reach out. Plus, when I dropped my car off for service they had a team member drive me home. This would have been appreciated if the driver was not texting the whole time, never using their blinker and running red lights. Overall, I have had a horrible experience here, it was a massive waste of time and I will not return. Highly recommend you to stay away!!”

“What a great dealership! Professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Our family dealt with Phillip in the pre-owned sales department and he made things very easy, very fast per our request, and very accommodating in many ways (such as letting us take to a shop for an inspection on our side of town that we trusted). I am so so happy with my new/used car and couldn’t be happier with the service we received at Lafontaine Nissan Troy. Many people buying the day we went in for our purchase as well and it was comfortable and everyone seemed pleased with their buys. Only complaint I had was that they didn’t bring out the red bow for people who purchase pre-owned- we are just as excited too! LOL 😂 Great buy, great salesman (Phillip), great team (Sydney), and much satisfied customers. Thanks again!”
