“Overall a great experience. They met with me very quickly. They made themselves and the car available with good follow up and confirmation. They offered to drive the car to me since I didn't have a second driver that could join me. Only one hicup at the end, where it was not communicated that because my payment was made till the next month that the paperwork needed to be resigned and the DMV registration fee had changed.”

“Terrible experience. They made a $2200 “option” MANDATORY with the purchase of their vehicle. The good ol’ bait and switch. Listed a great price. So I drove an hour with my pregnant wife to buy this vehicle. I had a pre approved loan, so I came with cash and a blank check from the bank ready to make the purchase. They ran my credit again, obviously to get me to spend more even though I already had funding ready to make purchase. They added a $2,200 paint protection plan that I did not ask for. I declined the “option” of the protection plan. They asked me how they can close the deal, I said remove the protection plan. They came back and said they’ll add free windshield protection, still $2,200. I said I just wanted the car and they said they don’t sell their cars without this protection option. I never knew an “option” was mandatory. They refused to sell me the car so I left. Samir was great and very knowledgeable but the sales manager made an “option” mandatory with my purchase. Steer clear from here.”

“Tracy Volkswagen has not let me down. Every time I come in for my appointments, I am acknowledged by staff even if no one is at the service counter. The service technicians are quick and efficient. I came in for an oil change and I was informed that the transmission fluid was required to be changed as well. Both maintenance issues were taken care of by my service agreement . My appointment was at 9am, the vehicle was ready at 11:59am not too shabby! The only complaint I would say is when I informed the service rep about my squeaky sunroof shade covering he wanted to charge my extended warranty and I asked why would I be paying for someone to push a button to hear the noise it is making? He said because it takes time to do that and they need to be paid for that. I didn’t ask them to fix it, just listen to it and tell me what it could be. If it takes a technician 5 hours to push a button to hear what I’m hearing then at that point -it sounds like penny pinching. Mind you, my car also was due for an inspection. What exactly was the inspection? Thanks Volkswagen of Tracy.”
