Since I couldn’t make it in before closing that Sunday, I arranged a Monday morning test drive. Jonathan wouldn’t be available, so he personally arranged for his colleague Mike Bergman to take care of me — a seamless handoff that set the tone for everything that followed. My son and I arrived at 10:30 AM Monday morning to find Mike waiting outside to greet us as we pulled in. From test drive to signed purchase agreement — including all the paperwork that comes with buying a car — we were done in just 2½ hours. Having bought many cars over the years, I know that’s nearly unheard of. Mike was professional, knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely engaging throughout.
