He put my mind at ease by letting me know he understood it's a huge decison and even let me overlook a few of the trucks for more than a few minutes. “My visit was my first experience with this dealership, and unfortunately it was not what I expected from a GMC service department. I arrived for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. During check-in, my service advisor, Alejandro Torres, scanned the vehicle and assured me he would select the correct oil since I explained I was unsure which option to choose when booking online. I was presented with an estimate for $154, which I approved, and I was told the visit would take about 1.5 to 2 hours. After waiting a little over two hours, I was informed the vehicle was ready, but the total had increased to $228 because the car is diesel. When I asked for clarification, the advisor acknowledged that he had not realized the vehicle was diesel. At that moment, my concern shifted from price to confidence. If the engine type was not properly identified, it naturally raises the question of whether the correct oil and procedure were used. Rather than receiving calm reassurance or documentation, the situation became unnecessarily argumentative. In the end, the original estimate was honored, which I appreciate, but the overall handling of the matter left me disappointed. I choose dealership service for accuracy, professionalism, and peace of mind. Regrettably, this visit did not deliver that level of confidence. I hope management reviews this experience and strengthens the communication and verification process for future customers.”
