“Just thought I take a a few minutes to write this review about my experience with this dealership.
I've never had any luck at a dealership finding a good car that fit my needs and what I was looking for. However her at George colman Ford in travelers rest, they knew exactly what I was wanting and found me a truck that was perfect for me. Great look and feel, really good gas mileage, Perfect size for me and my family.
Just wanted to say thank you to Tommy, he definitely went over and beyond to help me and my family get everything I was asking for and he did it without me even seen the truck. I told him what I wanted and he definitely understood the assignment. By the time I got to the dealership all I had to do was sign.
So again thank you so much to Tommy and everyone who was involved in making this happen for me. Y'all at George colman Ford have been awesome!!”

“George Coleman was wonderful to work with. Joshua helped me find the perfect car, and both he and Gerald were great during the process. They both made it easy and seamless purchasing the car. It was a great experience at George Coleman and we plan to come back when we’re ready for another new car!”

“My fiancé (20) and I (19) recently purchased a used 2023 Ram 3500 with nearly 100,000 miles from this dealership for approximately $60,000.
Initially, our experience was positive. We had been quoted around $60,000 for the truck and were told it was in “pristine” condition. Cosmetically, it looked great—very few scratches, a clean interior overall, and a well-maintained appearance. However, after taking a closer look, we found an entire pack of spilled sour gummies behind the rear seats that had never been cleaned.
We first placed a $500 hold on the truck on a Wednesday so we could test drive it and have my father-in-law inspect it before purchasing. During the test drive, the salesman assured us the truck would be fully serviced and that the tires would be rotated and balanced.
The following day, we took the truck to my father-in-law for a second opinion. He felt the engine was solid, but while driving, we noticed the truck was pulling to the right and had a noticeable shake. We specifically brought these concerns to the dealership’s attention and were assured the issues would be corrected during service. Based on those assurances, we signed the paperwork Thursday and planned to return Friday with a check to pick up the truck once the repairs were completed.
When we picked up the truck Friday, we were told it had been serviced and was ready to go. Unfortunately, on the drive home, it became obvious that the original problems had not been fixed. We contacted the dealership and scheduled another service appointment.
Initially, we were told that a worn rear tire was causing the vibration and alignment issues. Later, the dealership informed us that the driveshaft was actually warped and needed replacement. At that point, we were extremely frustrated. We had already made multiple trips back and forth, and now we were learning that a major driveline component needed repair.
What made matters worse was that we were first told we would have to pay out of pocket to replace the driveshaft. We seriously considered returning the truck. My father-in-law contacted the dealership and spoke with management about the situation. After that conversation, the dealership suddenly agreed to replace the driveshaft and refund us for the fuel filters WE had to replace - at no cost.
It’s worth noting that the fuel filters were reportedly at only 2% life remaining, something that should have been addressed during the initial service before the truck was ever sold.
Another issue was communication. From that point forward, the dealership communicated almost exclusively with my father-in-law regarding the truck’s repairs and progress. My fiancé is the owner and purchaser of the vehicle, yet he received very few updates directly.
To the dealership’s credit, once the repairs were completed, the truck finally drove the way it should have from the beginning. However, the entire process could have been avoided if the vehicle had been properly inspected and serviced before being sold.
My advice to other buyers, especially younger buyers, is simple: have any used vehicle thoroughly inspected before purchasing, regardless of what you’re told. Had this truck been properly serviced and inspected from the start, it would have saved everyone involved a great deal of time, money, and frustration.
My fiancé works hard for his money and was excited to purchase something nice for himself. We expected a vehicle that had been properly prepared for sale. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.”

“Staff at George Coleman were friendly and professional. They spent a great deal of time with us answering questions, looking to find what we wanted and just being friendly. I returned the next day due to an issue with the car. I was very anxious about it. They reassured me, took the car and quickly resolved the issue. Great customer service.”

“I have had my 2023 Ford Explorer for over 3 wks now, and I must say I am very happy with the vehicle. My experience with George Coleman Ford was one of the best experiences. Highly recommend going and seeing Nate Marcionette when making next vehicle purchase, he definitely will make you feel at home and like part of the family.”
