“In July, I returned to this dealership for maintenance where I met Savana who is an amazing Customer Service rep. She's so smart and insightful not to mention kind and thorough. Today I met Daniel and understand why his service department staff is so amazing. You won't meet a more personable person than Daniel. I appreciate his effort to make car repairs enjoyable. As with any repair shop, if you're concerned about price ASK for the cost before you start the job. If you want your parts back, make sure you let them know. You are going to pay more by choosiing the dealer. If you want a lower price find a local shop. You have to decide if paying more to a dealer is worth your time. My encounter with this dealership began in the Parts Department when I came in to purchase a part for my Toyota Prius that had snapped off due to an automatic car wash. I had never needed to buy a part for my Prius before and it was handled smoothly from the start. Lesley in the Parts Department stood out immediately as one of the most impressive employees I have encountered at a dealership. Her demeanor, professionalism, and clear above-and-beyond customer service were paired with a strong depth of knowledge about vehicles. Lesley took the time to explain details about my car that were not only helpful and educational but proactive. Thank you Lesley! In Service, Scott helped me stay within budget while still making sure the necessary work was completed at their highest standard. The balance between cost awareness and quality service was so appreciated. Thank you Scott! Chepe in Sales installed my front license plate and brought a level of care and pride to his work that was noticeable. Chepe takes such delight in his work and helping others and makes it all look so easy. Thank you Chepe! It's also so great that they offer a work space while you wait for your car and have treats too. There's coffee and water and donuts from a local bakery - all a very nice, thoughtful touch. Overall, the Thousand Oaks Toyota staff across departments is attentive, capable, and consistently kind, and the quality of the work and product matches the experience. It's so easy to recommend Thousand Oaks Toyota based on both service quality and staff professionalism. Thank you!”

“We picked up our Prius Prime last night! We originally stopped by just to look at a few cars and had no intention of buying that day. However, Amir was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. He took the time to show us several options and carefully listened to our needs. Based on what we were looking for, he recommended the Prius Prime, which turned out to be the perfect fit. The floor manager was also wonderful, and the entire team went above and beyond to make our experience smooth and enjoyable. We truly appreciate the outstanding customer service. Thank you to the Toyota Thousand Oaks team for making this such a great experience.”

“One name, 3 letters - Kam!!! Kam is the Man!! I'm allergic to Men, but NOT to this calm, cool & collected car expert at Toyota Thousand Oaks. I bought a car 3 months ago somewhere else & was harassed & treated poorly throughout the experience. Kam heard the story & immediately reacted towards me with genuine concern and determination to help my story have a happy ending. He dug in & sat with me at length and worked through my budget and concerns with the precision and attention to detail that only someone with copious amount of car sales and experience can exude. When you are next in the market for a new or used car, I hope you will trust my review and make an appointment to meet with him and lay out your needs and goals for this huge and important purchase. Kam treats everyone with buckets of respect and patience. He gets what makes a good person and THIS makes him the car God that he's evolved into over the course of his career. Peace!!!”

“Im literally bawling happy tears! at the dealership signing for my awesome orange Tacoma, because not only did the Thousand Oaks team (shout out to Javier and Yanet) sell me the car I wanted, they beat their own price AND finance rate and made it actually affordable when I was in a temporarily tough situation financially. I am so grateful! I was so sure they were going to say no, I was scared to even ask, and they said congratulations the truck is yours. Feels like a dream come true. Thank you Javier!!”

“Very unprofessional experience at this Toyota service center. I waited over 3 hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation, while my car was actually ready for about an hour and no one informed me. Service Advisor Alex Dupont was dismissive, rude, and denied obvious damage. It seems he’s either anti women or recists because he had the same attitude 8 months before when I was there! My car was returned with grease on the door handle and oil stains on the seat (check the photos). He refused to take responsibility and even claimed it was already like that. Service Drive Manager Daniel Ochoa was just as unprofessional and rude. After promising a resolution, he ignored multiple calls for over 10 days, then argued, refused the agreed compensation, and told me “you’re not welcome here.” I had to escalate to Toyota corporate multiple times with no proper resolution. Avoid this location. Extremely poor service and zero accountability. You’re better off buying American cars with tax-deductible benefits. Update to respond to this center: This statement is not honest, and the situation is not as you described. Daniel, the drive manager, told me that I needed to go in person to the Toyota service office to pick up the oil change certificate. After about a week, I realized I didn’t have time to go because it was a two-hour round trip. It then occurred to me—why couldn’t they just email it to me? It almost felt like this option was intentionally never offered. After a week, I tried calling Daniel, but he didn’t answer. I left a message and he didn’t call back. I called again—this time he answered and initially said he was with a customer. I explained why I was calling and asked if he could email it instead. He said yes, but that he would call me back. However, he never called. Ten days later, I called Toyota’s corporate office and filed a complaint. Within half an hour of that call, Daniel called me back. He was extremely rude—he raised his voice, told me I would not receive the certificate, said I was not welcome there, and falsely claimed that he had already called me. After I explained the situation multiple times and reminded him that he never called me, he eventually admitted that he had not called. However, he did not clarify whether it was a mistake or intentional. He apologized, but still insisted that I was not welcome there and that he would not provide the certificate.”
