“Unfortunately, can't leave 0 stars. Recently purchased a certified preowned 2023 Jeep from Courtesy which had less than 11,000 miles. Since I live 3 hours away, I paid additional fee for them to deliver the car. When the car arrived a few days later, there was an issue preventing the car from being able to accelerate and pick up speed. Their delivery person also acknowledged the issue. When I called Courtesy to let them know of the issue, they said not to worry. Since the Jeep was a certified preowned, it was had a full warranty so all I needed to do was take to my local Jeep dealer to have resolved. A bit of a pain, but not that big of a deal. So I did exactly that. Few days later, found out from the local Jeep dealership that the issue was the clutch which was completely destroyed and needed to be replaced. They said there was no way the car left the Courtesy dealership in good condition and this could not have happened in the 200 miles it was driven for delivery. And unfortunately, since this was not considered normal wear and tear, so was not covered under the warranty which Courtesy assured me covered everything. So I would have to pay for the cost of the repair. When I called back and spoke to management at Courtesy, they were annoyed to be even dealing with the issue and they refused to take any accountability. They said I should be happy with the price I paid for the car and that if I wasn't happy then I shouldn't have accepted the car at delivery. Even though at the time of delivery they insisted that the easiest solution was to have it fixed at a local dealer since it was under warranty. Clearly they knew the car had an issue and were doing whatever they could to take advantage and get it sold. Incredibly unethical and then to not be willing to take responsibility is terrible. I should have been smarter and just not accepted the car, but never did a think a dealership would be so unethical and not stand behind what they sold. So be very careful what used car you buy there. Especially if they try to charge extra because they say it's a certified pre-owned. UPDATE: Courtesy Jeep - thank you for your response to my review, but please provide a name of who I should speak to and a direct line to contact them at. Courtesy also has all my information so saying you'd like to appropriately address the issue but never making any attempt to reach out to me seems a bit misleading. So please let me know who has the authority to resolve this and I will contact them directly.”
