I brought my 2025 Cadillac Optiq in the middle of October 2025 brand new. I wanted a XT4 but due to new EV vehicles the XT4 has been discontinued. This is my first EV vehicle, so I was very apprehensive about the purchase because I live in an apartment and had no way of charging at home. After lengthy research I decided to take a leap of faith and purchase my first EV. I was in love with it because I can charge at my place of employment, so there are no more gas station trips. It charges while I work. Now for the kicker. After only 4 months of having this vehicle my computer in the Optiq went out. I called OnStar and a rep was able to help me get it back online by setting it back to factory settings. This only lasted for a few hours. The next time I got into my car everything was out again and this time I could not even call OnStar from the car, everything was offline. OnStar escalated up to tier 2 & tier 3 with no one able to help me with my issue. They instructed me to take it into the dealer. This is the problem. I called at the end of February to schedule to take the car in for service and I could not even get in until March 31st!!! Over a month’s wait because Capital Cadillac only has 1 tech for EV's. WHAT IN THE WORLD kind of crap is that! The Cadillac EV's are not Apple Car Play or Android Car Play compatible; they are only Google compatible. Therefore, I cannot use any of my apps on the car (Google Maps etc.) and I must turn off Wi-Fi because my phone auto connects to my car upon entry. I lose connection in the middle of anything being used on my phone because I am not hooked up to Wi-Fi. I have never had a new car that had problems after 4 months with no help in site for over a month and then I do not have any idea of how long the service department will even keep my car to make the repairs or updates! I was told by my salesperson Damion that I could drop my car off anytime but there is no loaner for me and no one could tell me how long my car would need to be there, so I would have no form of transportation for how long!! That is unacceptable. Think twice before purchasing an EV from Capital Cadillac because you may find yourself with a car you cannot use your options or not able to get a service appointment for months and no kind of support. Although I love the car I wish I could turn it in for something else. It is not worth the headache!

I stepped into Capital Cadillac today and asked for a salesperson that was no nonsense who could put me in my desired vehicle. I met Julius Murray. He was patient with me in exploring all my options. Julius is personable, professional, and understanding. I had the best experience due to his stellar customer service.

I had a chance to meet the good manager, Chris… And he was very helpful and he helped me out, and then I met the receptionist. She was very nice. But overall, the store was great and Chris Burrow really took care of us all.

I have never dealt with a salesman that was more conscientious and knowledge than Mr Maaninou. He gave me seemingly every discount and explained everything in detail and make sure that I understood the deal that was offered. And he took all the time necessary without exasperation. I very much appreciate what he has offered and hope we can make the deal offered when I have had time to consider it.

We came to Capital Cadillac looking to find a newer family car. We had spotted a pre-owned vehicle online that seemed to fit the bill. I first sent an email inquiry, and it was Julius who followed up with us. I soon made a call and and scheduled an appointment with him. He was very great to work with. I very much appreciated his no-pressure demeanor. He was very helpful. We ended up with the car, and it was a great experience.
