“Scheduled an upgrade to CX-5 infotainment firmware after receiving a recall notice. The upgrade was free, and went perfectly. Added on a coolant flush, as it was due based on time for service (mine not theirs). The process went well. They added a multipoint inspection and identified some areas to keep and eye on for future maintenance. Overall the cost was slightly higher than I had expected. Still, as I do much of my own maintenance they also recommended gear box oil changes, engine oil change, and transmission fluid change. There is no need, I know it's all good as I've already done them before (and none are due at this time).”
