“If you’re looking to get rid of a car - get into another car hear me out! I looked around to sell/trade my 13 GTR (everyone lowballed me Phx area & tucson). I went into Lapin to check out their offer! Fredy offered to sell it through consignment, that way I could make a little more, signed some paper work etc. & car sold quick! Then Fredy helped me look/ get the new toy a R8! The whole process was a breeze! “Doing their best, but not coming through where it matters. The showroom does indeed feel like a luxury experience and all of the guys were very friendly & really tried to make sure I was taken care of on the day of the sale. But it never actually went very smooth. I bought one of their cars from an online listing & after talking to the sales rep about it over the phone I flew out from SoCal after paying a deposit. All the prepurchase activity was great but it started to slip from there. I'm en route scheduled to arrive on time but they call me to change the appointment time less than an hour before I arrive - bumping back to the afternoona few hours later because they didn't actually have the car onsite yet. When it did arrive it showed up dirty and had plenty of small but noticeable cosmetic damage that was not disclosed. I could not have seen these things from the photos & videos. After the sale things have not improved much. It's been 6 weeks since I paid them and I've still not received the title nor had any word about when it's going to show up. We also had a bit of a mishap with the deposit & sale price of the car where I overpaid (my fault) and I had to find my way to calling the actual accountant to finally get that overage back after I think ~2ish weeks of asking. Overall dealing with this team has been more frustrating than positive but I'm still loving my car and they've been nothing but friendly so I don't want to penalize them too much, you should feel okay about buying from them - but I would advise other folks to really be strict about your paperwork, complete your dilligence, and don't leave anything to them on trust.”
