I bought a car with carmax in Savannah GA Yes the 1st car had problems so they wouldn't give it to me found me another one. And Maria Casa Di Bari the sales woman Was so professional so good Did all the paperwork got all done In good professional way And she is such an amazing woman Love the car and its really good you also Have a warranty for 90 days they are professional and courteous. All cars are inspected they make them safe so we can be safe 10/27 I called Demetrius he is amazing got all done checked car my engine light came on took my car back they fixed my thermostat and my gas cap and checked other things Car runs very well he is very professional Demetrius should be the service department manager and balance all for them he is ex military and really knowledgeable and professional

Bar far the worst buying experience I have ever had! Nobody is this place talks to one another nor the customer they just assume that every purchase will be the same. I had to have them correct the contract four times before it was right by this time the sales manager was hiding from me! I waited way too long over 4 hours for them to get it corrected, it’s a good thing because the next person I was going to talk to was the GM in his little plush office. Never again and I will never recommend them!

I give this experience a 2 star review. Simply because whenever I tried to call the dealership directly, I was transferred to the call center. The call center ended up selling the car to me. It was a huge pain in the rearend though since I was constantly communicating with the corporate office rather than dealing with the dealership directly. I drove from Long Island, NY all the way down to their dealership in Savannah, GA. They sold us the car without ever once disclosing windshield damage to the vehicle. We still picked up the car anyway after being assured by once again, the call center that CarMax would do the right thing and pay for a new windshield to be replaced once I got home to Long Island. The Smithtown, NY dealership called me to schedule the windshield replacement which they informed me would be completed by SafeLite but that I would not be billed for it. A family emergency occured when I was supposed to bring the car in for the windshield to be replaced, and I asked for the call center to help reschedule the appointment, which they told me I would have to call their service department to set that up myself because they were unable to do it for me, even though they had no problem doing it the first time around. The service department was impossible to reach at Smithtown, so I again asked the call center to have them reach out to me. Again, was told they couldn’t do it. Amazingly, after I called them out on their BS, they were able to send an email out to have the service team reach out to me. Problem was, no one ever reached out. I was promised that they would reach out to their service managers if I got no response, and I am still waiting to reschedule the appointment. Other than the damaged windshield, the car appears to be a great vehicle. I bought this car as a birthday gift to my wife. It is a 2022 Ford Edge Titanium. She loves the car overall. But I think this is my last time purchasing a car with CarMax. My recommendation is to go with a local dealer instead. I attached photos of the car we bought, the damaged windshield, and a screenshot of a text message with the call center. I hope CarMax sees this review and does the right thing to help get the windshield repaired without me having to pay for it out of my own pocket.

We first looked at a Kia Niro Hybrid but decided we wanted something a little bigger and with AWD. So decided on a Hyundai Tucson Hybrid (that we had to have transferred from Birmingham AL). CarMax was a hassle-free affair. Our salesperson, Joe Williams, was GREAT. Very nice and very helpful. No pressure whatsoever. We got what I expected for our trade-in. The CarMax price had been recently reduced to reflect market value and was considered a fair price according to Edmunds. We already had financing in place so that part was easy (although the actual transaction process takes time -- but Joe made sure we were well taken care of). The car itself (very low mileage -- previously leased vehicle) was in very good shape. A few very small paint chip dings that weren't part of the pictures when we looked at the car online, but not a deal breaker. All in all, we are VERY HAPPY with our CarMax experience. Again, a lot of that was due to Joe Williams. So THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

This is the 3rd automobile we have purchased from CarMax in the last several years. It’s always easy and the buying process takes no longer that 1-1.5 hours. Their cars are always in great shape. I bought a Caddy ATS . Excellent condition. Salesman Judah Smith is awesome . If you want a smooth, easy, process with a knowledgeable salesman look no further than Judah. He made it happen!!!
