All you need to know is Ben is your guy if you’re looking for a new Ford. If you want the context, my partner and I test drove new cars for her a few months back and she has been committed to a new Bronco since. She’s been daily driving a 2005 Tacoma and this is the first new vehicle she’s ever bought. I used to sell cars for an import brand and I’m very familiar with the process. We came in with realistic expectations, based off comparable market data, and Ben and the new car manager, Brendan, treated us fairly to get us a deal that worked. My partner is in the truck of her dreams and they made sure every step of the way was enjoyable for her. The experience was far above and beyond my expectations. I had a miserable experience purchasing my Maverick at a dealership out of state a few years ago. I can’t wait until it’s time to come back and see these guys for a new truck for myself. This team is proof a handshake still means something in Texas.

My husband came in to the Griffith Ford dealership because he wanted a test drive the hybrid Maverick XLT. We met our sales person Adrian Johnson, who answered our questions and checked the inventory for a hybrid. After the test drive, my husband was extremely satisfied with the drive however he was not prepared at that time to make the purchase. The sales manager Brendan came out and asked why and he just said I’m just not ready at this time. Adrian was very Customer service oriented and was not pushy in the least bit. He told us that if the vehicle was not here when we were ready, then he would see if we can get a vehicle from another dealership. After going back home, my husband received a preapproval from our long-term credit union and thought about how much he liked the truck. Since he was given an outstanding trade-in value for his F150, my husband decided to make the deal. He contacted Adrienne and let him know that we were coming right back and do not sell that truck because we had a preapproval letter in hand. However, we would need to go to our credit union in order to pick up the preapproval check on Monday. He said not a problem, we were told that we could go in there on Monday morning to pick up the check to bring it to the dealership. Had Adrian or his sales manager been pushy in order to close the deal that same day, we would’ve never come back. But it was because they said you just let us know when you’re ready and we will be here. That type of customer service was very much appreciated especially when you are doing auto sales. In the end, my husband loves his truck, process was streamlined, and the quickest we had ever had a purchasing process was streamlined, and the quickest we had ever had a purchasing a vehicle. We loved doing business with Griffith Ford in San Marcos, Texas. We highly recommend them for anyone looking to purchase a Ford vehicle.

Drove an hour away to look at 2017 F250, showed up and the truck had a massive oil leak, busted intercooler pipe, broken dip stick(couldn’t even check oil level) and I found the fuse box panel down in the engine bay covered in oil…of course none of this was disclosed when I called ahead of time or on the online listing. The sales guy was great but also confused on the condition since the truck had gone through the shop and had a green sticker on it that it was ready to sale. When these issues were brought up to the sales manager and GM I was told that the price was non negotiable, that the truck was going to auction and that they were just seeing if they could sell it locally first. They had this truck on the front row along I35 but then proceeded to tell me it was a junk auction truck. Beware buying from this dealership. Very frustrating to waste my time and money.
