“I’m writing this review to warn future customers to be extremely cautious and to share my ownership experience. For clarity, my total out-the-door cost, including taxes and fees, was approximately $27,000. Timeline for context: • Day of purchase: The water pump failed shortly after delivery. I was not permitted to take the vehicle to a closer repair facility in Oceanside and was required to pay for towing back to the selling dealership. The dealership covered only a portion of that repair. • Approximately one week later: A harmonic balancer issue arose, resulting in an additional repair expense of approximately $1,500. • Within the first few weeks of ownership: The tires began consistently losing air pressure, prompting an urgent visit to a tire shop where all four tires were deemed unusable and required replacement at a cost of approximately $1,000. • Subsequently: Additional drivetrain concerns were identified related to the torque tube alignment bolts. I am now facing repair estimates totaling approximately $14,000, without any financial assistance. What has been most frustrating is not that mechanical issues exist on an older performance vehicle, but that the scope and severity of the problems only became clear after significant time and money had already been invested, leaving me with very limited options. This review is intended to reflect the cumulative reliability and financial impact experienced shortly after purchase so future buyers can make an informed decision. I strongly recommend obtaining an independent inspection and second opinion before committing to expensive repairs.”
