“Dishonest and Untrustworthy - Buyers Beware I am incredibly disappointed with my experience at Volkswagen of Salem. I came in to look at a used car that was advertised as a "Great Value." The Carfax report provided by the dealership stated that they had completed a full 4-wheel alignment, which gave me some initial confidence. However, the moment I took the car for a test drive, it was immediately obvious that something was wrong. The car had a banging sound and pulled severely to the right, making it difficult to drive straight. There is no way a proper alignment was performed as claimed. The dishonesty didn't stop there. The interior of the car was simply atrocious. For a dealership to claim a vehicle is a "Great Value" and lie about the service performed is completely unacceptable and misleading. This was a total waste of my time. I would strongly caution anyone considering this dealership to be very careful and double-check everything they tell you. I will not be returning.”

“Seniors and disabled beware....! I went in seeking information on a particular used car, looking for a specific set of safety features. I wasn't serious about buying the car until they assured me it had everything on it that I needed. No one spent the time teaching me or showing me how to adjust the features. I spent the next two days trying to read the 10 lb instruction manual, trying to set up the features that I eventually discovered we're not even there. I was misled and lied to. The next day I called asking to return the car and to get my old car back. I was told that all sales were final and when I mentioned that I was older and disabled, he said I would be talking to his attorney next. I feel like I was railroaded and possibly being older and disabled played a part in it. (Also they do not have a disabled bathroom at the dealership.) It is a really nice car, but not for me. So seniors beware... If I could give them zero Stars I would do so.... 😢”

“Just bought my second vehicle from them, this time a 2025 VW Atlas from Tonya. She was amazing to work with and watch her help train a new salesperson and walk another through the demo of all the features on my new vehicle. Came back the next day with some questions and Tonya was happy to answer all that I had. Everyone from sales managers to finance guys to service have been outstanding.”

Tonya was the perfect salesperson to calm me down and deal with my predicament. She’s such a nice person you’d never know she was a “car salesman” 🤣 She got right on it and had me in my new Taos pretty darned quickly which was very important to me. With a good price too. She’s very easy to work with.”
