“I have worked with Clayton on my Porsche 2025 Macan. They ordered the parts, let me know when the parts are here, I brought the car for repairs, all insurance communication was handled by the collision shop. I got a digital summary estimate with contacts of both my insurance adjuster and Bert smith advisor. The work looked immaculate. I even checked the paint for warps of light haha. I got all the paperwork that I need with all of the things that were done. Clayton did a great job with communicating with me throughout the process. There was a delay, due to one part not being delivered on time cause of the holidays, but that is okay, because Clayton was constantly updating me I did not feel blindsided. All in all, highly recommend this collision center. PS. I did walk out on another shop in Tampa, if you see my reviews, I hope you find this one and bring your Porsche here.”

“I bought my vehicle 5 years ago from here. I have never had an unpleasant experience with anyone. I do get all of my maintenance done here. It does take time waiting in the morning because everyone seems to be here early.
They make it so easy & they really care about their customers.”

“I’ve consistently received great service at Bert Smith since 2021, which is why this experience was disappointing and worth sharing so improvements can be made.
I brought my car in due to a tire pressure sensor light returning three weeks after a prior service visit in November. I also asked again about repairing a broken sunglass holder and upper console—both still under factory warranty. In November, I was told parts needed to be ordered, but I never received any follow-up communication. When I returned on 12/20/25, I was told the parts were already in, which was confusing given the lack of outreach.
Javier, who helped me at drop-off, was kind, professional, and communicative. He explained that a nail was found in my tire and that a new tire would need to be ordered, arriving Monday. While the $236 cost for one tire was higher than expected and patching is not offered, Javier handled the situation well and kept me informed. He is the main reason this review is not one star.
On Monday, I called for an update and was told I’d be contacted once the car was ready. By mid-afternoon, I hadn’t heard anything and called again. The interaction with service at that point felt dismissive and unhelpful. I was told my car was “in the wash,” but no one could give a timeline until I pressed for clarification. Shortly after that call, I received a text that my car was ready—so I’m glad I followed up.
Unfortunately, when I picked up the vehicle, the condition of the car was unacceptable. There was a thick residue on the tires and rims, streaks and dried dirty water on the mirrors and windshield, soaked driver-side floor mats, and visible dirty fingerprints throughout the interior. Most concerning, the newly replaced sunglass holder and console—light-colored parts—were smeared with black grease and fingerprints. I had to clean the windshield myself before driving off the lot.
My car was dropped off clean and well-maintained (no kids, no pets), and I expected at minimum that the new replacement parts would be returned clean. If you bring your vehicle here, I would recommend declining the car wash.
I truly hope this feedback helps improve communication, service follow-through, and vehicle care going forward. I’ve had good experiences here in the past, which is why this one stood out.”
