“This is a shout-out to Carson Bostwick, Sales Consultant at Findlay Subaru STG, for his friendly demeanor and professionalism. It was a pleasure working with him on the new Outback Touring XT I recently purchased. From the test drive to the final OTD negotiated price, I felt completely unhurried and never pressured into my decision. FIVE STARS—HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"”

“From day one when we bought our Forester we have had amazing service. Carson was our sale professional and he was outstanding. We have used the service department since 2021 when we bought our Forester. We just had an incident where all the warning lights light up on our dash. We quickly called Subaru here in St. George and told them we were getting towed there as the car would not start. Dominic in the service department was extremely helpful and assured us they would quickly look at our vehicle. We explained we would need a service loaner as we were headed out of town the next morning. Dominic made sure we would be able to keep the loaner for the weekend. This put not only myself but my wife at ease and allowed us to have a great time with family. I will not hesitate to return to Findlay for service or even when it's time to buy another vehicle. They are all very polite, professional and eager to assist. Thank you, Findlay Subaru, for an outstanding team that go above and beyond every time!”

“I was traveling with my boys in March when the dashboard lit up, I needed the heat intake valve replaced. Findlay got me in and offered a loaner for our afternoon. I asked the service advisor to look at my front brakes, he was confident he could waive the fee for the labor, which is reflected as a $0 charge on the estimate. We agreed i was due for 60k work based on my mileage, and I expressed my intention to address that locally upon returning from our roadtrip.
I learned that many customers come in and haven't been diligent about having their Subaru looked over before embarking on their roadtrip.
I fell into that category. What started at a congenial experience with Findlays service advisor shifted when I received a quote of $2500, all red flagged items requiring "immediate attention". I did not know my rear brakes were at 1mm, they were at 5 mm in the Fall.
I was stunned and uncertain what was truly risk and what could be addressed by my mechanic at home. When I declined the services, I was met with a response "Ok, so to be clear, we aren't doing any of the recommendations at this time?".
I felt cornered. Everything was a red flag? Everything required immediate attention? When I returned to get the car, I was told the fee for labor couldn't be waived after all, and was offered a small discount. As my keys were handed to me I was told "you should've gotten this taken care of yesterday ".
I was stunned. I reviewed the estimate and found a local mechanic to do what I felt was most imminent, the rear brakes. When I got home my mechanic said yes, the remaining work needs to be done, and no, not imminent danger. The brakes were the most important repair. The biggest concern locally was my windshield wiper blades.
I have relied on Subaru to help me keep my family safe for years - this car is my 4th Subaru.
My experience at Findlay was not focused on safety. I needed sound advice about what was critical. Instead, I was insulted for showing up with unaddressed issues, suggesting to me that I failed as a car owner, consumer, and most importantly, as a parent who didn't safeguard her children.
I called the service center to speak with the management about my experience on the 11th of this month and didn't hear back.
If the service advisor felt I was in danger on the road, he showed no indication beyond the insult. No liability waiver was required for me to drive off the lot with a list of red flagged repairs.
I want to advocate for kindness and guidance. I was hoping to be heard. Instead, I'm posting this review.”
