We recently purchased a new GMC 2500HD from Thompson Buick GMC. This was an out of state purchase for us, we live in Mississippi 500 miles away and Jace made the entire experience outstanding. He was incredibly professional, kind, and easy to work with from start to finish. Jace took the time to answer all of the questions we had before we made the trip there, (out of state sales taxes, financing, etc) When we arrived, they had everything ready for us and we had everything we needed. Chris in Financing was outstanding as well. He made everything smooth and easy. He took the time to explain all the facts and figures in a way to make it very easy to understand. I can honestly say this was the best buying experience we’ve ever had. Everyone we interacted with was very helpful and accommodating.

I had a fantastic experience purchasing my vehicle from Thompson Sales Company. Chance was an outstanding salesperson to work with—especially as an out-of-town buyer. He made the entire process seamless, from initial conversations to final paperwork. Everything was transparent, there were no surprises, no last minute fees, and the car was exactly as described. The closing process was quick and organized, and communication throughout was excellent. If you’re considering buying from them, I highly recommend asking for Chance.

We needed service on our Sierra and found Thompson GMC in Springfield. Every step of this visit was great. From booking the appointment, to driving in to drop off the truck. The shop is very clean and things were run well. We were updated along the way and our work was done as promised... And my car was washed! Our service advisor, Austin, was great. We will be back

Not a great experience from a dealership that is supposed to have a high reputation. We inquired about a vehicle that we had saved on Cars.com. It was listed in December. The first day we inquired we asked questions about the vehicle and had a plan to come see it approximately a week later. Communications were sporadic and some of our questions never got answered. We were possibly going to trade in our vehicle that we had previous offers on. I explained that we would need to get the same or close to same offers for ours as the other dealers recently had offered. The dealer told us they would be there or real close. When we arrived on Monday February 2nd to view the vehicle. The dealer pulled it up and immediately we could see recent damage to it. Inside was unclean in places and very minor issue but the Bobby pin that was shown on the internet pictures back in December was still in the car in February. It became clear that one of the Thompson employees damaged the car while moving it to and fro. Accidents happen but the fact it was not communicated to us before we arrived was disappointing. Then they didnt even want to lower the price at all from the damage. Yes it was theblowest priced car of this make and model within 100 miles but also the longest listed in 200 miles.The kicker, though was that they said they would give us $2k less than our other offers. We haggled back and forth and they came up some on the trade offer saying they would also fix there car but we did not make a deal. We had a hard time speaking to a manager at first during the process. We only got to speak to a manager after we asked to speak with the owner. I doubt we do business here in the future. They seem to have an issue with honesty and communication. On a positive note, the reception lady was real friendly and helpful.

We had an excellent experience with Thompson Cadillac and want to specifically recognize Tito and Jeremy, the sales manager, for going above and beyond. From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure we were taken care of. Their communication and attention to detail stood out, and they made the entire process smooth and stress-free. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority for them, and that level of integrity goes a long way. We are very happy with our 2020 Buick Enclave and truly appreciate the way Tito and Jeremy handled everything.
