When we arrived at the dealership, Ricky Lassiter Jr. welcomed us with a warm smile, and a firm handshakeRicky truly cared about getting my husband his dream truck. Throughout the entire process, he was kind, kept us informed at all times with going back and forth to try and earn our business, and truly gave us the best deal possible! If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Excellent customer service.

Integrity, Accountability, and Customer Impact Failure Update: After spending nearly $1,000 on rental cars, diagnostic fees, and fuel from repeatedly bringing my vehicle to Vaden, I finally took matters into my own hands. After doing my own research, I discovered the issue was simply a faulty spark plug and ignition coil pack. The repair cost about $250, and my vehicle has now been running flawlessly for the past six months. It’s extremely frustrating that a dealership with factory-trained technicians and advanced diagnostic equipment was unable—or unwilling—to identify such a straightforward problem. As a customer, I expected an accurate diagnosis and an honest effort to repair my vehicle. Based on my experience, I believe the dealership was more focused on avoiding warranty responsibility than resolving my issue. To make matters worse, I also believe the information they provided to the Better Business Bureau did not accurately reflect what happened. I can’t recommend a business that failed to properly diagnose a relatively inexpensive repair, cost me hundreds of dollars in unnecessary expenses, and left me to solve the problem myself. ———/////—— Original post I am formally documenting a serious integrity issue involving Vaden Chevrolet – Savannah, GA, as well as GM Customer Care. I brought my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 to this dealership specifically for a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT and multiple service warnings. I have time-stamped photographic evidence clearly showing the illuminated check engine light and service messages on my dashboard at the time of drop-off. This vehicle has been brought to this dealership at least three separate times previously for the same issue, with no help or resolution provided. On the most recent visit, I was specifically told to bring the truck in when the check engine light was actively on — which I did. Despite this: • Vaden Chevrolet Savannah later claimed there was no check engine light and no maintenance required • Service advisors Derrick and Jenn submitted a response report stating the same — which is factually false • GM Customer Care representative “Brenda” also claimed she did not see the photos, even though the images were included in the email thread This is not a misunderstanding — it is a documented contradiction of evidence. Because the dealership kept the vehicle, we were required to pay approximately $360 out of pocket for a rental vehicle, resulting in wasted time, unnecessary expense, and disruption, all while being told no issue existed. We were actively trying to get this issue diagnosed and repaired while the vehicle was still under warranty. Based on the repeated dismissals, lack of documentation, and the false claim that no issue existed, it is my opinion that the concerns were minimized or ignored until the warranty period could expire. That perception alone represents a serious breakdown in trust. I am an active-duty U.S. Army service member, and I expect honesty and transparency when I bring a vehicle in for service. Instead, I was met with denial, inaccurate reporting, and dismissal despite clear proof, repeated visits, and financial impact. The dashboard photos show: • Active check engine light • Service Parking Brake warning • Service ESC warning • Diagnostic trouble codes present To state that “no issue existed” after multiple visits, documented warnings, and out-of-pocket costs is unacceptable. I am posting this review so other customers — especially service members — understand how concerns are handled here when documentation is provided. This matter is being formally escalated beyond the dealership and GM Customer Care until it is properly addressed, corrected, and accountability is taken. I would love to post the photos here.

I went in to vaden expecting to have a hard time finding a vehicle that I would like to buy. Then I was approached by Hamza he was more than willing to walk with me through the used trucks they had on site. When we had finished looking I hadn't found anything I wanted so he invited me inside and we searched through the other vehicles that they had at other stores. Then we found it my new truck he was very helpful and understood everything I was looking for that made the experience seem enjoyable. Thanks for all the help Hamza
