“My husband went in to check out few trucks. Sales person informed him of the rebates being offered and about the zero down. So after him and I talked, he decided to trade the truck he bought few months ago at this same location. They sent him a link to fill out the application and few minutes later he got a call to come in and that he was approved. He got there and after half an hour, he called me asking me if I can co-sign. I went there, to my surprise I was informed that we were approved. I was confused, wondering how we got approved if I haven’t fill out an application or given them my Social Security Number. So I asked, the sales person said that the system linked our names together. Again, I asked how was that possible when my husband’s truck was just under his name and the car I bought from them was just under my name. Ricky from finance said it was on the application, and the system linked our names together so he assumed it was ok to run my credit. First of all, my husband only put his name on the application, second, he doesn’t know my social security number and lastly, his assumptions doesn’t justify nor gave him right to run it since I wasn’t even there which was illegal. With me questioning why my credit was ran WITHOUT my consent, he had the nerve to tell me as a customer that if I’m getting frustrated because of this then he refuses to sell us any vehicle and that everything was done legally on their end. I am trying to figure out what and where it went wrong. He said he will give me a copy of the application that my husband filled out, which he didn’t. Ricky shouldn’t be on the floor directly interacting with customers until he learns and can provide good service. He Needs years of customer service training. Employee like him brings the company bad reputation. How did he even pass the probation with his people skills? 2 cars we bought that we were happy with the customer service we got but this third one will be the last. We will never come back and conduct business with Capitol GMC again and will definitely not recommend it to my family and friends.”

“Great experience - Scheduled test drive for Yukon Denali, but team was also able to get an Escalade as well - which was traded in few mins before visit. Priscilla did everything possible to show us all options. Especially showed various trims, colors - appreciate all her efforts. Coordinated by Text, seamless scheduling, Initial Quote - I got was pretty much same as online. I was just exploring different brands. Car: YUKON is awesome , Spacious - no need to crawl for 3rd row like every other manufacturer. Get the denali trim.”

“The vehicles may be impressive, but it seems the sales staff could benefit from a refresher course on how to speak to customers. It's always fascinating how some dealerships invest heavily in their inventory while overlooking basic professionalism and communication. Fortunately, good manners are still cheaper than most GMC options.”

“I had an engine oil service for my Buick Enclave including multi-point inspection on 6/13/2026 as I noticed a trace of leak on my driveway. I asked the service representative to check my car for the leak. He told me that the technician didn’t find the leak although the video shot by the technician shows a sign of leak at the bottom of the front side. After I pointed out that from the video, the service representative acknowledged there was a leak and wanted me to reschedule an appointment to determine the source of leak next week! After the engine oil service was done, I drove my car 11 miles home and checked the bottom of my car to see if the leak became worse or not. Guess what.. I saw brown oil dripping under the engine bay. This was new and happened after the engine oil service. At this point, I decided to go to another car shop to have my car taken care of appropriately. The car shop quickly confirmed the oil filter was not tightened up properly. That’s why the brown oil was dripping under the engine bay. They also identified the old leak came from broken water pump/ coolant leaking. They fixed both oil filter and water pump issues. Capitol GMC should have done a better inspection job to spot coolant leak from broken water pump and avoid the poor workmanship of not tightening up the oil filter after engine oil services. Overall, I had a poor experience with this particular service while previous ones were generally ok.”

“We had an outstanding experience working with Tyler Merilatt and his team on the purchase of our 2026 Sierra 1500 AT4X. From start to finish, Tyler was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. He took the time to clearly explain every detail about the truck and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We never felt rushed or pressured — instead, he focused on helping us find the right fit for our needs. He also worked hard to negotiate a strong deal for us, which we truly appreciated. What stood out most was his straightforward approach and deep understanding of the product. It made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. We highly recommend Tyler and his team to anyone considering a vehicle purchase. We won’t be going anywhere else in the future.”
