“Excellent Sales Team, Terrible Finance
Experience
I purchased a vehicle from Nate Wade Subaru on July 30th, 2026. My experience with the sales department was extremely positive. A huge shout-out to Sarah, who worked hard with us for months to find the perfect vehicle. Because we live an hour and a half away, she kindly started our paperwork before we arrived to speed up the process for us and our three kids. She also worked tirelessly to get us into our target monthly payment.
Furthermore, when the car was unfortunately damaged during unloading, Sarah immediately involved a manager to ensure it would be repaired.
The disappointment came when we reached the finance department. We worked with Paul Burt, and I strongly suggest asking for anyone else if you visit this dealership. After waiting nearly an hour to see him, we were exhausted and ready to sign. Instead, Paul aggressively oversold extended warranties and completely ignored our fatigue. When I spoke up, he actually threatened to sell our car to someone else, stating, "I can sell it tomorrow for $3,000 more." From that point on, he only spoke kindly to my husband and was incredibly condescending toward me.We arrived at 6:45 PM and did not finish with Paul until 9:45 PM, leaving us with a long drive home late at night with three kids. What should have been an exciting day was ruined by Paul’s aggressive sales tactics, condescension, and refusal to listen.”

“This will be the 4th car our family purchased from Nate Wade. We have been customers since before the Ken Garff acquisition. The experience has remained low pressure and personable. This is the second vehicle we’ve purchased from Jeremiah, and the first time we ordered a custom spec. Jeremiah brings good energy and knowledge to the experience and the order process was smooth. We will need another Subaru soon, so I expect we will be back. The service department is honest, but definitely has dealer prices (more expensive).”

“Negative review for pricing and process, a bit lengthy. Rarely do I feel like a shop is blatantly trying to rip me off but I got that impression here.
I took my 2015 Subaru Legacy to Nate Wade Subaru because every light on my instrument cluster was sending faults and I needed confirmation of diagnosis. When I took it in, I gave them full details of recent self service leading up to the fault lights and told them what was causing the issue (the wheel speed sensor) and hoped they could confirm it. The price for this diagnostic service was just over $180. They did confirm it was in fact the left front wheel speed sensor and quoted me $500 labor and $100 parts. I pushed back and said that was way too high for the labor to which they responded with a $200 deduction on labor quoting me $300 for the labor and $75 for the part. I declined the service because the labor was still way too high for this task. I paid the over priced diagnostic fee only after contesting an undisclosed $25 additional shop fee which they did waive. I drove it home and literally had the sensor changed out, codes cleared, and vehicle test driven within 25 minutes.
They also tacked on a recommended A/C flush and recharge for ~$450 because “the ac wasn’t blowing cold” despite it being colder than a penguin’s member frozen to the ice sheet.
I won’t return to Nate Wade and I’ll likely never buy a Subaru again because in the engineers’ infinite wisdom they code faults to trigger every system light making issues nearly impossible to diagnose without the dealer.”

“What a great place to buy a car! We were so pleased to work with Nick Westover and the team as they made it so easy for me and my daughter to buy a car for her. I can rest easy knowing that this place is so close for us to go with any questions as they are so caring and welcoming. Thank you Nick for such a positive experience and we highly recommend to any and all folks in the market for a great, reliable car!”

“When you buy a Certified Used Outback from the oldest Subaru dealer in America, you get experience, knowable sales, good selection and very competitive prices.
My salesmen J was extremely helpful, no pressure, and wanted me to be completely satisfied with my purchase.
I was able to find the exact make, model and color.
Would highly recommend buying your next Subaru from Mark Miller”
