“This is a wonderful place to buy a car. My experience started with an online associate who quickly sent me a link with cars that were in my price point. The link showed the sake price and possible payments too. That’s what brought me in. When I entered the showroom, I was greeted warmly by Felix and introduced to Fred, the nicest and friendliest salesman. The negotiation process was easy. Nick, the finance guy was friendly and helpful as well. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable. I left a happy customer in a very affordable, 2026 Toyota Corolla and will be back!”

“Car salesmen and dealerships are sooooo annoying, so I'm going to tell you a story about that, and how annoying they can be, but I'm going to start at like, the beginning. I've been waiting almost a decade for the 6th generation 4Runner to exist. I wanted a 4Runner, but I take a lot of roadtrips, so I wanted one with acceptable gas mileage. I also wanted one that was faster off the line than your average dump truck. 2025 rolls around, and it technically exists, and becomes "available" for purchase. But is it? No dealerships had them. (Even as recently as yesterday someone in a parking lot was amazed that I own one.) The wait time to purchase one was months away still. Dealers that didn't even have the car on their lot were marking them up $5k and selling them sight unseen. There were dozens of threads on internet forums dedicated to finding them, and on one of them, I found a google spreadsheet that lists every single unsold 4runner in the country. It showed where the vehicle was, what it's estimated arrival date was, how much it was marked up, and what dealer it was going to end up at. Whomever updates that list should be eligible for sainthood. In June, I got financing approved through Chase, just in case one magically appeared. And then about a month into checking that list everyday, one of the ones I was potentially interested in was listed as available and on the dealer lot in Runnemede, well over an hour away from my home. And for some weird reason, it was discounted like $5k. Super suspicious. Probably an annoying car dealership trick I thought, at the time. But I had work down that way, so I took the drive. I arrived in Runnemede in a torrential downpour with zero intention of buying this 4Runner. I just wanted to see one in person. I didn't even want to test drive it. I walked into the showroom and Phil jumped on me like a jackal on prey. I told him I didn't want to buy a car, didn't have any money, and had to be home in an hour or I would be divorced. He said let's just go sit in it. So we did, in the pouring rain. It was reeeally nice. I'm coming from an 2008 Rav4, so this truck was basically a space shuttle in comparison. He asked me if I wanted to take it for a test drive, and I declined, but he peer pressured me into driving it around the parking lot. I parked it closer to the showroom door so we didn't have to walk back in the rain. Phil was relentless. I told him I didn't have a down payment. He didn't care. I told him even if I could somehow muster up a down payment, Chase hadn't approved enough to cover the rest. He didn't care. I told him if I wasn't home in 10 minutes, my wife would never speak to me again. Meanwhile, Phil had a secret weapon working in the background, and his name was Felix. Felix was working on having me drive away from this place in a new 4Runner, with financing terms that matched Chase, at the reduced price (which they claimed was an accident by the way!). I lied and told them I was barely employed, there's no way I can afford this. None of this mattered. Even with Felix doing his magic, two hours in, I still didn't think I was buying a car. But then I went outside, and the rain had cleared, and the sun was setting, and a rainbow appeared, right over this damn 4Runner. And that's when I realized this might be happening. Felix somehow got my financing wishlist all approved, and around 4 hours in, I ran out of reasons to say no. I drove away that night without paying a thing (with a promise to come back in a few days with my down payment of course) and went home. Whatever I still think about car salespeople and car dealerships, it doesn't apply to these guys. My 4Runner if AMAZING. It is literally my dream truck. And I honestly don't think I would own this car, even now, if Phil and Felix hadn't worked and pressured me into making it happen. So big thanks to Runnemede Toyota for the push. It's been 3 months, I'm 12k miles in, and it's amazing.”
