If I could give Zero Stars I would. I reached out to Fox Auto group starting back in October of 2024 in preparation of replacing both of my vehicles. I attempted to get some relatively basic information but the sales team refused to answer basic questions of vehicles in stock, vehicle options, current lease programs etc. I was always told to just come in. Well I’m not a fan of wasting my time so I went elsewhere and purchased my two vehicles from two different competent dealers who answered questions instead of playing games. Now months later after the ship has sailed their sales team is reaching out 🤦‍♂️. Now at this point it’s just annoying to have them contact me several times after telling them Nicely the first two or three times I purchased a vehicle and Im no longer in the market.

I had an extremely disturbing and unprofessional experience at Fox Automotive in Rochester Hills. I was not greeted upon arrival, was not asked why I was there and was quickly prompted to sign for services on an iPad without being shown a cost breakdown. The total was nearly $500 for what I came in for as a routine oil change. Only after I questioned the charges and mentioned my warranty were services suddenly removed and the price reduced, which raised serious concerns about transparency. After being told my vehicle would need to be left, I was informed I could receive a loaner. While waiting, I overheard service staff members openly speaking about me in a vulgar and demeaning manner. It was unmistakably clear the conversation was about me and I can’t recall a time ever feeling so disrespected. Comments included mocking my situation, accusing me of trying to avoid paying, and dismissing a valid Volkswagen-issued coupon from the official app as illegitimate (though the actual words they used are not appropriate to type.) Only after I pointed out that I had overheard all of the entire disrespectful comments did behavior suddenly change, including the door being closed for another conversation. As a paying customer and as a woman being subjected to this by men, the experience was humiliating and deeply unsettling. The fact that this behavior involved management makes it even more concerning. I left without having my vehicle serviced because I did not feel respected or comfortable remaining there. I couldn’t trust that people with such contempt for me for absolutely no reason would safely work on my car. The behavior I witnessed made it clear this was not an isolated incident, but a broader issue with professionalism and leadership. I strongly caution others to avoid this business at all costs.

Terrible service, rude staff, and poor workmanship. They didn't even wash my truck after they asked if I would like a car wash. Overall, it was a weird experience. I would recommend going elsewhere. You can tell they only care about gouging clients and misrepresenting themselves as a reputable business.

They will quote and try to push service that was not actually due, nor recommended by Toyota. Example: at 35K visit, they will strongly suggest you do maintenance that is recommended at 60K, and only recommended for vehicles doing heavy towing. They will recommend flushes that are only recommended in Hawaii (as per Toyota's maintenance schedule). They will even recommend the same work twice (flushing the transfercase/differential - TWICE, where it was a) not recommended by Toyota unless doing heavy towing and only at 60K miles, and b) for a vehicle that they insisted has a transfer case , but which actually uses an Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive system that does not require a traditional transfer case. This system uses electric motors to provide power to the rear wheels, eliminating the need for a mechanical connection like a transfer case) . Mind blowing. That's why people hate going to dealerships.

I really enjoyed my experience working with Kamil at Fox Automotive Group in Rochester. He was friendly, a great communicator, and quick to answer any questions. He wasn't pushy either. I'd definitely work with Kamil in the future and I'll be recommending him to my friends and family as well!
