“Drive over 2 hours to go see a used car that was for sale, a manual transmission car. Hard to get rid of those cars now a days because every one wants an automatic. Got there tested the car and had checked engine lights, brake lights, traction control lights, on and the A/C was not working. The used car sales manager is asking 14K for the car but will not fix the car? Car is considered too old by the financial institutions , can only be financed by 1 institution, so they asked me to increase my down payment and raised my monthly payment to over $450 a month. I am still willing to negotiate because I like the car, but as I said before the sales manager doesn't want to fix the car, wants me to "buy as is"....come on man , there are plenty of cars and dealers out there, and if the used car sales manager is not willing to fix the car, then I definitely need to walk away from this company, and never associate with that dealer again and remind others of my experience so they can be aware of the way they do things. ..... update.... As I said before that I was still interested and negotiating for the used car that I wanted to purchase. I got a request from Mike Shaw Toyota to do a review on my experience with the staff and possible purchase. Well as I said we were trying to figure out what the used car manager was going to fix and what was not going to be fixed, sales lady Cristina called me today and told me that the used car sales manager rejected the purchase, in other words he is not going to sell me the car! And the reason was that he saw my 1st review of my experience with Mike Shaw Toyota and was upset because according to him , I didn't give them a good review, I was asked to review my experience, and I did , and there is no untruths in my review, just like now. I told Cristina that I'm still interested in the car but I will be looking elsewhere, I guess he doesn't realize he needs me, and I don't need him. We will see who else wants the big V8 , gas guzzling, manual transmission, with all kinds of check engine lights and no a/c.”
