“I bought my 3rd vehicle, a 2016 Acura RDX, from CarMax a couple weeks ago. I have never had a bad experience at any CarMax lot. The staff has always been nice and respectful. It was the same when I was in my early 20's and now at 49 years old. That goes a long way with me. Some dealership sales people are not easy to work with. CarMax is the complete opposite.
The cars I have purchased have always been nice and reliable. The Acura has been more of the same. No issues so far and I expect that won't change. The buying experience is even faster than when I bought my first car from them. Technology has made things so much faster 20 years later. I was in and out in under 2 hours.”

“Today I visited the CarMax location at 8007 Wild Wood Forest rd Raleigh, and I was assisted by Craig. I truly felt very well helped throughout my visit. He answered all of my questions, explained everything clearly, and was extremely kind and professional. He is definitely the kind of person you hope to interact with when visiting a dealership. Although we did not complete a purchase, I felt very comfortable with his attention, service, and willingness to help. I will absolutely keep CarMax in mind when the time comes to buy the right vehicle. Thank you.”

“Our experience was fine, we were looking at F-150's. We took a 2018 FX4 with a 2.7 twin turbo with a 10 spd trans. We were having another truck shipped from another Carmax location no charge. Between test drive and arrival of other I decided I really liked the FX4 and called to start the purchase.
Unfortunately someone else had decided to also purchase it. My loss. I wish I would have known I could have placed a hold on it.
I found a another truck at a different dealership and am now very happy with a 2017 F-150 XLT 4X4 SPORT with the 5.0 and 6spd transmission.”

“Great experience so far. Only 2 weeks in. Bought the bar with a broken tonneau bed cover. They got it in the next week to find it needs to be replaced. 2 months backorder. Not their fault. I can wait. After 7 days owning it we decided we really did want the CareMax. They let us buy it separately without having to do the financing again, even though online it says you have to purchase it when you buy the car. My mechanic really recommended it as he buys all his family cars from CarMax and he's owned his own mechanic shop for 42 years.”
