“My family and I were driving home from Florida when our Jeep Grand Cherokee broke down just off I-95 in Richmond, VA. We searched for the closest Jeep dealership, and South Richmond CDJR came up. After a kind stranger stopped to make sure we were okay, we called for a tow and hoped for the best. The dealership didn't open until 8:00 a.m., and we were the first customers through the door. Thankfully, Ginny, the Service Manager, was there that morning. Saturdays are normally limited to oil changes and routine services, with no technicians scheduled, but Ginny went above and beyond. She had two team members check our battery and do whatever they could to help. They were able to get the Jeep started so it could at least be moved into the garage. Then something amazing happened—a technician named Amauri came in on his day off. He quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and got us safely back on the road to finish our trip home. Our experience was outstanding. They could have easily told us to come back on Monday or said they couldn't help us, but instead they treated us with kindness, compassion, and urgency. We are incredibly grateful. Thank you, South Richmond CDJR, and a very special thank you to Ginny and Amauri for going above and beyond to help a family stranded far from home.
