“5 Stars for Fernando! TRUE VIP Service! Helped me from start to finish stayed late to make sure I got the perfect truck, payment and rate. He beat what I came in looking for I was surprised when he gave me the numbers and where WAY and I mean WAY better than I thought didn’t even hesitate to agree and sign! 2nd purchase with Fernando and will continue to come to him and only him for my purchases! Had the truck washed and cleaned up, fueled and tags ready by the time I came out of finance! Exceptional Service!”

“Toyota of Poway was amazing! From the day that I expressed interest in leasing a new Tacoma, I was immediately met with amazing customer service. Fernando was an awesome point of contact to figure out the fine details of a smooth pickup as well as any spec of the vehicle I would ask. Upon arriving at the dealership, I was immediately met with a friendly handshake and genuine smile of hospitality. We were then transferred to Esteban who to respected our preferences regarding coverage and extra package details all the way through. Overall, this was an experience I will never forget and will always be thankful for how easy they made it for a first time leaser like myself. To Fernando and Esteban, thank you! The 2025 Tacoma is treating me fantastic!”

“Warning ///Warning ///Warning/// I went to this dealership for my first car service to change the oil that I recently bought, and after I checked in, someone came and checked all my tires and said they were healthy and didn't even need to be rotated, and I said yes because I recently bought the car and all the tires are new. And after two hours of changing the oil, they called me and said there was a staple in your tire, and since it's on the sidewall, it just needs to be replaced. Do you want to do it? And when I got there and saw the tire, there was a very large staple in the side of the tire that was visible even from 10 feet away, and I said, "This has never been in the tire before, because something that big is so clearly visible from the surrounding area, and I had checked my car before, and even the Toyota technician had checked it, and he hadn't seen anything at first."And they said if you want it you have to pay $350 to replace the tire!!! I'm pretty sure that's where the staple went in, but they didn't accept it and wants to charge me for it. I wanted to tell you to take care of your cars because at any moment you could face new damage and be charged a new fee.”

“My vehicle was serviced by Gustavo and right after I left the dealership, my car started to make a scratching sound that sounded like it was coming from under the car. My advisor told me that I was able to take it to a different Toyota dealership that was closer to home, so I did. The new advisor found that a screw was left off in an odd place and it caused the bottom of the car to get damage from scratching the pavement on the highway. I took it back to Gustavo since they were the only ones that worked on it before it started to make the noise, and they told me that I must've hit something. Apparently it's more likely that I hit something that only knocked the screw out and cause no other damage rather than they mistakenly did something wrong. They had no evidence, they just refused to do it. The most annoying part, was that when they were looking at my vehicle to see if they could repair it, the advisor didn't give me any updates about them not doing it, instead he just texted me to tell me I can pick up my car. I asked him to tell me what they were able to do and he said we did the recall. I inquired further about the damage and he said oh no we couldn't do that because it wasn't our fault. I left screenshots for context. In the pictures of the damage, it doesn't look like the screw was knocked out, looks like it was removed. We were considering buying a new Toyota this week, but this isn't worth it.
UPDATE: I tried to speak to the manager named Donald about this issue. I called four separate times, I was always told that he would get back to me the next day. He never called me back once. So, if anything ever happens to your car, this is how you will be treated.”

“Ivan, Vee and Lionel were top drawer! I was promptly acknowledged and greeted by Lionel the moment I walked into the dealership. Lionel and Vee showed me and I drove 2 cars. They were both knowledgeable and friendly. Toby in finance was organized, expedient and NOT high pressure at all. I will definitely come back to Toyota if Poway for my next purchase! The dealership mascot, a pug, was adorable!
