Initially my goal was to purchase a used car 2023, thinking I would save $$. My last used purchase was a used van w Ball in Nat City. I worked with a Edgar throughout the 4 day process due to President's day and he was nothing but polite, professional and patient. My mechanic in Pacific Beach at H Car (Gary) found no glaring issues, but offered good advice. For $3- 4000 more, I could purchase a new Honda hybrid crv. The other gentlemen at Ball that worked to make this happen were Fernando, Roberto and Joe. At no point in time did they seem disappointed that I had wasted their time writing up a contract, to only change my mind. Nor did they balk at my declining all the bells and whistles. They made several consessions and worked w me to get the price down to what I was willing to pay, and what they would accept. We negotiated a fair trade in price for my van, additionally, gave me $1000 off for being a return customer, and I felt ZERO pressure to buy additional features or any extended warranties. This was pretty painless, although time consuming. Bring a book, or computer to get some work done while you wait. Call you Mother. My only suggestion would be to offer a Active duty Military, and/or Veteran's discount of some kind. We are a Military town, 32nd street is not far from Mile of Cars. It's a daunting task to be stationed in an unfamiliar town, and need to purchase transportation. I have direct experience with this some 40 years ago. It would be a welcome sight and most appreciated. Thank you so much Ball Honda! Nina

This review is for the service side only. I have been using the service center for about 8 years. Unfortunately, my prior Ram 1500 has had multiple issues and I've had to go in many, many times for warranty work. Point being, I've seen many service advisors and managers come and go. I recently had to take my new truck in, and I was extremely impressed and treated completely different from past experiences. A huge shout out to the newest Manager (I don't know his name) and Kathleen!!! Kathleen was the most helpful and caring service advisor you could ask for. She genuinely is just a nice person! I cannot thank her enough. It just seems like there's a different vibe and different crew over there doing good things.

Big thanks as well to Johnny, the finance manager, for keeping everything smooth and straightforward. I love my new car and highly recommend this team!

I recently purchased a 2022 Toyota Corolla from Pedder Chrysler Jeep Dodge and had a great experience. After I expressed interest online, Robert called me back quickly and set up a test drive for the very next day. Jay was incredibly helpful throughout the process — easy to talk to, mellow, and courteous, which I really appreciated. He made the experience feel low-pressure and straightforward. I ended up buying the car and am loving it. I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical going in after reading some of the online reviews, but they didn’t reflect my experience at all. Everything went smoothly. The standard dealership upselling was minimal and nothing out of the ordinary, and I was in and out in about two hours. Overall, the process was easy, professional, and stress-free. I drove away happy, and I’d gladly recommend working with Jay. Thanks again!

Last week I helped my daughter purchase a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. Everyone we encountered was was friendly however they are salesmen wanting to sell you a car. During our test drive, I told the sales rep that I found them through the AAA car sales app and that the rate showed a $500 discount. When I reviewed the pricing while with the finance manager, I saw that the rate had not been discounted and mentioned it. He called the sales man and Johnny said it was as low as they could go. If that is the case, they shouldn't advertise with AAA which I am filing a complaint with them as well. That would of lowered our monthly payment by $10. It isn't a large amount however it is my daughter's first car and car payment which could of helped her out. Another gripe was when I asked if there were any open recalls, they said they had already been addressed however after reviewing what my daughter had signed for the Carfax, they only highlighted that there were no accidents or damages and that it was a Certified Jeep Pre-Owned. What they failed to highlight and have her acknowledge was that the report did indeed have at least one open recall that was not yet resolved. That's a pretty big deal in my opinion and it would have made me think twice before allowing my daughter to commit to this vehicle. I will also be addressing this with the DMV. It was a bit sneaky in my opinion. With both noted items, I would not recommend this dealership for their failure to honor the AAA discount and their failure to disclose that there was indeed an open recall on the vehicle and instead falsely assured me it had been resolved.
