“If there was a zero stars option, that would have been my rating.
Had a very sketchy experience at this dealership. The salesperson was very personable and engaging but what happened after, left a very sour taste.
The initial interaction was positive and the sales manager presented a fair offer. However, six days later (after a deposit was left, paperwork signed and terms agreed upon) I received a call that the finance rate had tripled. "Sorry out of our control" was the answer I received from the Sales Manager. The payment had jumped up more the $100 per month. Found this very sketchy - credit scores are over 800, application was submitted three days earlier, we were in direct contact with the sales person almost every day, on the day that the Sales Manager called about the rate change, I sent a message thanking the Sales Person for their time and efforts - they had no idea that the deal had fallen through.
I am making it point to share my story with as many people as I can and warning them to find another dealer. We have leased/purchased numerous cars throughout the years, never has anything like this occurred.”

“Our family had a great experience purchasing a new vehicle from Mitch at Terryville Chevrolet. Mitch was extremely helpful and transparent. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of from the opening conversation to driving off the lot. There were no pressure for add ons from anyone at the dealership, just provided all the information we needed to make the right decisions for our family. Highly recommend for anyone to stop by this dealership. Thank you again!”

“Called in looking for a specific vehicle for my wife and the salesman Nicholas who helped us went above and beyond to find us exactly what we needed and provide an unmatchable experience from start to finish! We purchased our vehicle well over a month ago and still to this day he answers our calls knowing exactly who we are and more than happy to help us along the way as we attempt to navigate the overwhelming amount of technology that comes in a newer vehicle. I don’t know where we would be without him! Their service department is incredible as well! All the guys are extremely knowledgeable and John the service manager has been more than generous in extending an invitation to us to bring our new purchase in for a complimentary check up after a few thousand miles to make sure everything is still up to par. Overall I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Terryville Chevrolet and feel blessed to have been taken care of by these folks the way we have.”

“I purchased a new cargo van for work as the Internet price they had was fair.
Price that was negotiated was fair
What Isn’t fair is that the day picked it up and finally got it on the highway back home to NJ my brand new vehicle was pulling hard to the left.
The entire ride home about 200 miles I was fighting with the steering wheel
Checked the tire pressures and they were fine
Called the dealership right away and I had to hear the whole song and dance about no one is there to approve whatever needs to be done.
I don’t want to drive 200 miles to go get an alignment or get it checked out.
That’s what I have a warranty for right?
Wrong!
I want go to my local dealership around the block to figure out what’s wrong with my brand new truck
I ended up doing that today only to find out from the service rep that an alignment would be $200.
My service rep at Paramus Chevrolet, which is my local dealership, said that the tire probably sat flat for months and shifted the alignment out. That is most likely what happened.
The worst part is that I was advised that the PDI (pre-delivery inspection) was done on this vehicle eight months ago! So I basically lost eight months of warranty on a brand new truck I picked up last week with 27 miles on it.
So basically they delivered the vehicle on paper eight months ago.
How could this even be possible?
And you guys want me to call you back to buy the $3600 extended warranty?
This is madness that I bought a brand new truck and lost eight months of warranty right out of the gate.
I also suspect I qualified for a cheaper interest rate and they didn’t tell me.
I explicitly asked for a 48 month term.
He said take the 72 month and pay it down quicker, which will even out to be the same thing. They said it was too late to call the bank and get another preapproval and it would be too much of a hassle.
Just totally bad experience
Very unhappy”
