“Recieved a message from Henry at Carricks for an offer to buy my truck and I was in and out within 30 min. They were so professional, friendly and helpful. The offer was more than generous. Thank you Henry and Carricks Auto for all your help. I will miss my truck but know it will get another good home.”

“James at Carrick’s Autos made the entire car-buying process simple, easy, and—most importantly—quick. He was professional while still being very personable, which made the experience comfortable from start to finish. There was none of the typical “big auto shop” pressure or runaround. James was open, honest, and genuinely kind throughout the process. I would absolutely recommend James and Carrick’s Autos to anyone looking for a straightforward, stress-free experience, and I would definitely go back again.”

“If I could leave a negative review, I would. Joey led us to believe this would be a great vehicle, but the moment we saw it, it was clear there were major issues. The car was sitting in a pool of oil, and the lifters were so loud it sounded like they might come through the hood. We drove eight hours expecting to buy this vehicle, only to discover how poor its condition truly was. After pointing out these serious problems, the dealership only offered to fix a minor issue, one that, based on Joey’s reaction, they were clearly already aware of. After we declined to purchase the Jeep, no alternative vehicles were offered for us to even look at. This was a complete waste of time driving from Kansas City 8 hours and an extremely disappointing experience. I strongly recommend staying away from this dealership and this salesman.”

“Beware: Dishonest and Untrustworthy, Don’t Let This Happen to Your Family I’m not one to leave negative reviews, but I feel a responsibility to warn others after what happened to my family with a purchase from Carricks Autos. We bought an Acura MDX from this dealership under the condition that the timing belt service, (one of the most critical maintenance items) would be completed since it was well past due. They promised it was done, even signed off on it with purchase agreement, (“We Owe” Picture). Because we were on a tight timeline, we even traded in our vehicle—severely undervalued—just to make the deal happen. We later saw Carricks flip it almost immediately for a large profit. After less than a year of ownership, our “serviced” MDX started having serious issue, loud ticking noise. I brought the vehicle to a trusted local mechanic, who told me the timing belt showed no signs of ever being replaced, and the tensioner was so worn it had snapped off part of the assembly. The belt was fraying badly and on the verge of complete failure which would of seized the motor. To understand, I also contacted multiple local Acura dealerships and asked how this service should normally be done. Every single one of them confirmed: the belt tensioner must be replaced along with the belt and water pump—this is industry standard. Skipping it is not just cutting corners; it’s flat-out irresponsible. I called Carricks and spoke with Jeff (gm and original saleman) for nearly an hour. I explained everything clearly and gave them a chance to do the right thing by helping us with this problem we came to no resolution. I asked him to get Mark the owner on the phone. Mark avoided me at first, but eventually called—with Michael, the person who supposedly performed the work. Instead of accountability, I was met with excuses and denials. They stood by their story that the work had been done—even though every sign pointed to it being skipped or improperly completed. In the end, they refused to help in any way, laughed me off the phone and I was left to pay over $2,000 out of pocket to fix something they had claimed was already done—something we only bought the car under the condition of being complete. This isn’t just bad service—it’s dishonest, careless, and morally wrong. Our family bought this vehicle when we didnt have alot of options and trusted Carricks to help us. Instead they took advantage and lied about standing behind their work. If this is how they handle safety-critical work and treat customers afterward, they don’t deserve your trust or your business. I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what we did. Be warned. Don’t trust them.”
