Was in the market for a new van for work spoke with Alley She got me approved right away the next day. I was driving off a lot with my new van. She was so polite so helpful didn’t put no pressure on me. She really knows what she’s doing everybody there is so great. What a great experience. And I can’t forget about Lisa she got me get through the paperwork extremely easy she was phenomenal too. These ladies really know what they’re doing.

This review is a WARNING for any female considering Chapman Chevy. Here's my story of sexism and unprofessionalism (I worked with CHARLES): I have a Chevy truck that I bought used. It has a lockout feature that will randomly prevent me from starting the car, about once a month, for years. I brought the truck there in 2025 and was told I'd need to tow it there the next time it happens. So, last week, I was locked out and had it towed to Chapman. I called the dealership ahead of time, spoke to a representative, and asked them to address the issue I previously brought in the truck for. Turns out, they don't actually keep records of the past and the secretary I spoke to "works offsite in New Jersey and has no idea what is going on." Problem 1. When CHARLIE called me to tell me what they found, he said it was the battery ($200) and a loose gasket ($11) that would cost $1.3k (including a $200 alignment). How does this total $1.3k? I asked for a list of what the parts and costs were and was told I'm not allowed to see this information - it's confidential - so I'd be paying for something I'm not allowed to know. Problem 2. I left Charlie two voicemails and called at least 5x a day - no response. Problem 3. Finally, he called me (did not listen to my messages) and said the problem was the battery. I told him I disagreed and he proceeded to explain how batteries work and talk over me, like I didn't know what a battery is. I didn't have a chance to explain because he aggressively got louder and louder until I hung up. He simply wanted me to take his word for it, while I knew nothing about what he did or why it cost so much to repair a problem I didn't want fixed. I have never had a mechanic aggressively "man-splain" like this to me and it was totally inappropriate and unprofessional. Problem 4. I proceeded to call every day after that and went in circles in their phone tree (no answer from anyone). Problem 5. Because there was no response for weeks, I went to the dealership in person, where the same man-splaining occurred at the counter. Charlie was at the desk, with his buddies, including a supervisor, who repeated this process all over and told me not to raise my voice, while they proceeded to talk over me. I know what batteries are and I know what the problem is with the truck, but, really, what do I know?? I'm a woman! A totally bizarre, mean, and dishonest experience. I needed the truck so I paid (like I had an option) and now the truck is still broken and I am dreading the next lock-out. Do not use Chapman Chevy, and certainly don't work with Charles.

Saw some of the bad reviews and was a bit worried going in, but they were amazing. Test driving the car went well, our salesman Andrew was very nice, he came down on the price, and he even tried multiple times to find us a better interest rate. He never outright said no to any of our requests and always checked with his manager first. The out the door price was very reasonable with no excessive fees. However, due to our bad credit score we had to leave. But, as we left Don, the owner, came outside in the cold and told us he could do better. He managed to lower the cost even further and gave us the best deal possible! Great place, great staff, and great deals! Would definitely recommend paying them a visit!

This has got to be the best dealership experience to date and I have bought plenty of vehicles. In and out in less than 3 hours. No prior negotiations, just a phone call the day before telling them what time to expect me the next day. Price was right, told them I already had my own financing, they said no problem! But let’s see if we can beat it? I said sure and they in fact did beat it. Also no added BS dealer fees (thank god) in and out their finance department, no issues there either. All in all, I left with the car of my dreams, I left happy and I feel I got a good deal. This is my Third vehicle from the Chapman family and 5/5 stars Thank you once again

Lisa Oquendo and Dan Staley were great throughout the process. Chapman was the only dealer within 200 miles that had the vehicle configuration I was looking for. Both Lisa and Dan were accessible, professional and answered all of my questions about the vehicle and the buying process. They were honest and transparent, and I got a fair deal on my new vehicle purchase as well as my trade in. They were also able to beat my credit union financing rate.
