“Bought a Certified Passat summer 2023. Aka a 🍋. That wasn't so Certified, considering the valve cover was leaking oil before purchase. Since then, it's been back and forth from service department with unresolved issues and over a dozen invoices. On multiple occasions it's been months at time the vehicle has just sat there waiting for service. Factory warranty timeframe wasted away.
I've worked extremely hard to take care of this vehicle, meet proper maintenance intervals, and provide the tlc. Only to receive the vehicle back in worse shape then it was dropped off time and time again.
Currently, Heritage Vw Parkville has had my vehicle for approximately 4 months. Information from customer, and professional opinion from another Vw Dealership was ignored. Asked for mulitple tests to be done, with no feedback. Engine fails on dealership watch.
I was then offered a used engine with 20k more miles then my original. And it was agreed I could keep the failed engine. No timelines, very little updates. Contacted several personel/ managers with minimal feedback.
Although the dealership has provided multiple loaners, I just want my car back running how she's supposed to! This severely exceeds reasonable repair times, and is extremely unprossional.”

“🚗 How I Almost Made a $29K Mistake (twice)
I’ve never been one to rush big decisions, especially when it comes to cars. But my recent experience with CarMax taught me just how costly a rushed purchase can be and how the right dealership can turn everything around.
It started with a used car from CarMax. Within weeks, I was staring down a major repair bill. The vehicle needed a new head gasket and a transmission. “Huge thank you to Charles and Dominic for getting my wife into her new car. They worked with us to source and transport from another dealer the exact model with the exact appointments my wife was looking for. Come to find out, that is not an easy task and there aren’t many models like that around. Great experience on the day we arrived to pick it up and complete the sales process. All pre-negotiations were met and the entire staff was very accommodating. On the way home, we realized the A/C was not working. The previous dealer had failed to charge the system upon receipt from the manufacturer. I called Parkville late on a Saturday and reached Esteban (I hope I spelled your name correctly) who went out of his way to get me back in touch with the sales team. Charles had us return on Monday first thing, provided us a loaner to execute our previously planned day trip, and got the A/C fixed in less than half a day by a service department crew facing a Monday surge in vehicles needing service. From sales to financing to maintenance, I experienced a very pleasurable car buying process. Things happen that we can’t predict and the Heritage VeeDub team was quick to act at each turn.
