“I am leaving reviews for every dealership involved in the ongoing issues with my vehicle, and this review reflects my experience with Chevrolet of Palatine, which was the first dealership to service the vehicle after purchase.
I purchased a CarBravo Certified 2023 GMC Terrain on May 31st, and my first service visit occurred on June 13th at Chevy of Palatine, less than two weeks later. That alone should speak volumes about the condition of the vehicle at the time of sale.
The vehicle was brought in for electrical and drivability concerns, and while the visit was documented as a warranty inspection, the issues were not resolved. This visit marked the beginning of what has become a long pattern of repeat warranty repairs, extended downtime, and escalating electrical failures across multiple dealerships.
At no point during this visit was there a clear explanation of root cause or confidence that the issue had been identified. The vehicle was returned to me, only to continue experiencing the same types of problems that ultimately led to repeated dealership visits, major electrical component replacements, and now an active GM buyback case.
Communication during this visit was minimal, and in hindsight, the seriousness of the issue appears to have been understated. Had the underlying problem been properly identified or escalated at this first visit, it is very possible that months of continued breakdowns and downtime could have been avoided.
This review is not about a single inconvenience — it reflects the starting point of a long and unresolved warranty failure that began almost immediately after purchase. For a vehicle under full warranty and sold as certified, this experience was unacceptable. I have all documentation to back up my claims.”

“Would highly recommend this dealership. No hassle, no pressure. Just good people doing their job helping buyers get what they want. I have been searching for a used car for almost few weeks now and knew what I wanted. I reached out online and was connected with Guillermo who continued to be very responsive throughout my car buying process. He was open to negotiating with me and I was able to get everything set in writing before we got there. No funny business. We were out of there in a little over an hour. 10/10 would recommend Guillermo! He was just such a real person and treated my wife and I with respect. This is how salesman and car buying should be. Jordan at finance helped make the paperwork easy for us too. He was respectful and I never once felt like he was trying to force a product on me. He did his job and gave me a great deal, I just didn’t need it at the time. Best car buying experience I’ve ever had, and car buying isn’t always fun.”
