“Bought a 2018 Express 2500 conversion van sight unseen. As soon as I got the van, had transmission shudder and needed front suspension redone. Dealer did split cost with me on front suspension and I was grateful for that. After misdiagnosing the transmission shudder for a few months, I finally replaced the torque converter after replacing MAF sensor and spark plugs. After doing extensive research, these transmissions are notorious for bad torque converter misdiagnoses. Now I have to drop $10,000 on a transmission. Whoever traded this vehicle in didn’t want to pay to fix it, and the dealer decided to just throw it out for sale knowing it needed a transmission and didn’t have the decency to tell me. Beyond angry.”
