“This was not your stereotypical car dealership experience. I met Shawn about a month prior to making the purchase. At that time I was purely doing some background research regarding what options were out there. He put no pressure on me, gave me his card and I moved on. Fast forward, the dealership had a vehicle in transit I was interested in. I contacted Shawn, and he walked me through reserving the vehicle from several hundred miles from my home. The dealership shot straight, forwarded straight forward pricing, and put everything on the table prior to me driving up from Central Oregon to see the vehicle. Shawn did his due diligence to ensure I took advantage of incentives, even going so far to make sure he knew if I waited a few days, a new incentive would become active. The day of the purchase was an absolute breeze, dare i say it, a pleasure. When I arrived, Shawn had all of the pre-paperwork done, and I was in and out of there in under an hour and a half. Shawn and the finance manager, Dave were both real human beings, were kind, professional, and were genuinely invested in making sure they put their best foot forward. They both respected my wishes in turning down some additional add-ons, and didn't pressure the purchase dramatically. Obviously they run a business and need to make a profit, but I never felt that I was being sold an "undercoating". I would highly recommend working with Ron Tonkin, Acura. They run a pretty good ship, treat their customers with respect, and sell a good product.”
