“I highly recommend NOT going to #1 Cochran in Robinson to buy a preowned vehicle. My 22 yr old son was in need of a vehicle. His Pap found him a truck here. It was a great truck with a pappy cap that is Pap found for him – all the stars aligned, including a price he could afford. To my son, his Pap is his world. About a month after purchasing the truck, it was discovered that tape was used to camouflage rust on the rocker panel. While that was on my son & myself for not finding that issue (not easy to see the way it was disguised), the dealership was at fault for not disclosing that issue to us. They disclosed a small dent & one other minor detail, that we were OK with. Using tape to camouflage rust on a rocker panel is an old used car hack. One that I thought this dealership was better than. My father reached out to the salesman repeatedly, got no assistance. That guy could've cared less.I sent multiple letters to senior management of the company, and still no response. So I decided to make this post in hopes of deterring somebody else from going through the same issues that we did. Their other locations might be better, but again I did ask and send letters to management of the company looking for some help on this matter. No one ever reached out to us.
Side note, the finance person we dealt with at this location was absolutely awful. He was extremely intense - gave me a hard time when I told him we declined all the "extras" they were offering. It was so bad we almost walked out of his office. But again, my son was after that pappy truck that is Pap found him. Save yourself the stress and don't go here.”

“We were very happy with dealing with Tom L. at #1 Cochran of Robinson Buick when my wife and I processed a 2026 Encore GX Avenir. Tom and the finance department were great to work with and we would go back again.”

“Lot of recent bad experiences here at the dealership. Apparently, I’m not the only one that has experienced its decline over the past year or so judging from all the 1 Star Google reviews. So, I called in early last week to schedule an inspection for Saturday morning. Advised the gentleman that I’d need to drop off the vehicle so he told me that I can drop it off at 8am when they open or even the night before and leave the keys in the after hours box. Made arrangements with a friend to drop off the car Friday night only to get a stern call at 8:15am from Josh the service advisor that there was no scheduled appointment there or for any of the other dealerships?? How does my appointment just not get entered in their system.. Not an apology or any gracious explanation for what could have happened, other than, sternly saying, I’ll try and get to it today but there’s no guarantee. No, that’s not acceptable enough for me. I never would have dropped the vehicle off without an appointment. The issue was clearly on their end and instead of speaking to me professional and taking the approach that they would correct the error and get my taking care of, I got some tough guy making it my fault. No. I picked up my keys and got my car out of there Saturday morning. Definitely taking my business elsewhere. I’d respectfully advise you to do the same and avoid this dealership!!”

“I’m not usually one to give reviews, but this specific visit warranted one. I met with a salesman named Jon who assisted us in looking at a Ford Expedition. Before we test drove the car, he brought his manager out to appraise the Ford truck we brought for trade-in. Upon arrival back to the dealership from the test drive, Jon said that the trade-in value was in and to go inside and we’ll discuss. When we went inside, Jon then was adamant to know what we owed on the vehicle FIRST before giving us the trade-in quote from them. My husband then asked “I thought you had the trade-in value already, that’s all we want to know at the moment”. Jon proceeded to say he didn’t have it yet, which was the first lie, and pressured us with calling our bank for payoff before they gave us a trade-in quote. After he received our payoff, he went to his manager and came back with a trade-in offer that was insulting. My husband questioned the offer, and they told him it was because there was a check engine light on, which is from a current recall on the vehicle, and they told him that their mechanic said it was a bad turbo. Obviously, that was also a lie because we already had the truck tested for the code on the dash and knew it was from the recall. Jon specifically said that he saw the code himself, which was his second lie to us because we were test driving the car when the manager said he took our truck to the mechanic. Jon said that the turbo would cost them around $4,000 to replace and that’s why their value was low, but if we cleared the check engine light off the dash, they would raise the value on it. So then the manager came back and I wanted to make sure if the check engine light was off the dash that they would give me $4000 more on trade-in, since they claimed that’s why it was $4000 below. He said they would then only give me $2800 more because he would have to replace tires for $1800… which wasn’t mentioned in the first quote initially given. All in all, this review is to show that I would never do business with them, regardless of their vehicle prices due to the way they can habitually lie to your face and not even bat an eye. I was so relieved to tell them no and leave the dealership. On the other hand, please go visit Woltz and Wind Ford. They are extremely professional and offer honest business.”

“By far the worst experience with a finance manager ever. From having us come back three times to straight out lying about rates gives this dealership another black eye. We have an 800 plus credit score and this so called man, presented us with subprime rates starting at 6.99% when they advertised 3.99% only to be called out on it, and instead of negotiating, he began a disgustingly aggressive position by standing and saying " I guess you don't want to buy the car" .then laughing as we stood up. Before we even walked into his office he made us wait until he took care of two more couples only to find out one had an appointment and the other didn't. After we disagreed vehemetly, again he made us wait until he had another couple instead of taking care of us like a professional dealer should. He only apologized after my wife had words with him and his GM. This apology was vale and not from the heart in my opinion. This"man" ish, takes advantage of regular folks trying to get a fair deal and scoffed at the fact we even questioned him. I'm calling him a liar and did so to his face. Cochran should be ashamed to have this individual represent the #1 in front of the Cochran name. I'd gladly appreciate a phone call from the owner to tell him exactly what his company represents to hard working PGH people. If you want a tardy, condescending bully, then they have the perfect guy. For the next guy, do yourself a favor and don't buy there unless you want to be mislead, disrespected, talked down to and robbed with a pen. I have never posted anything in my life, but unfortunately, this guy doesn't get a pass. How many people has he done this to with zero repercussions? His less than slick and sleazy presentation of the numbers was so obvious a six year old would know it's just plain "wrong". Maybe I take a shot at this experience on Facebook as well. This is how you treat people in below zero weather just trying to purchase a new vehicle? Sad Mr. Cochran. How much money do you need? He is your name sakes representative isn't he? What would you do if you felt mislead, disrespected and frankly taken advantage of? Hopefully, you stick up for your loved one's too. We're just a regular hard working couple! No more, but definitely no less. Hope you read, believe and take heed to our plite. They even jammed a 300$ SiriusXM charge down our throats which we don't/didn't want. When does it end?”
