“My husband and I bought a dodge challenger r/t from this place and we had a horrible experience. Two months into buying the car and we ended up with transmission problems. We notified the dealership but, they were less responsive and uncommunicative than we expected. We did talk to someone who claimed to be the owners son who was somewhat helpful but not much. Luckily my husband is somewhat knowledgeable about cars as he was able to replace the transmission himself. We didn’t want to much of a hassle but buying a car and having to replace the whole transmission wasn’t in our cards either. Funny thing is our neighbor told us he bought a car from them some years back and had nothing but problems. To the owners it would save you problems if you run a business of of honesty and dignity. I would probably try an actual dealership if you’re buying high end or supercharged vehicles.”

“Got a good deal on a Toyota RAV4 (did my research) and it was truly a low pressure sales experience. Alex was great - answered all my questions over the phone, held the car when I gave him a heads up I was heading over (2 hr drive for me), and helped me get started with loan approval online so didn’t have to worry about that when I got there. Literally the least stressful car buying experience I’ve ever had.”

“Test drives are done without a salesperson and there was no one outside on the lot so we were free to walk around and browse, which was good except when you had a question and then you had to go inside and wait to be helped (which on a Sunday meant a fairly long wait time but that's not really their fault). They are very open about a 10% bidders premium which is added to the price of each car but just be aware that with all the other fees and potential extras on top of that, the out-the-door price could be thousands more than what is listed. On top of that there is no negotiation, which can be a positive if the car is listed below market value (though the bidders premium possibly wipes out any savings) but could be frustrating if the car is overpriced ($$$).”

“I went for a specific car and looked at the rest. And I found a newer, better car and took it home, no problem. Great experience 👍🏼”

“I had a wonderful experience buying a used car at Contra Costa County Public Auto Auction! The whole staff was helpful and didn’t pressure me into any decisions. I came knowing what car I was interested in, and the first person I met (I believe she was an office manager or receptionist) gave me the keys and allowed me to look over the car alone, which was a much better experience than other dealerships that hover over you and pressure you to make a choice. When it came to financing, Brady was really helpful in getting me the best rate, ensuring me that my preapproval with Capital One could be beat (and it was!). The process was smooth, and I think I was only there for about 2.5-3 hours (fairly short, for the car buying process). Highly recommend this dealership!”
