I have mixed feelings about my experience with the Lexus dealership in Pembroke Pines, which is a bit surprising given this is an $80k vehicle. On the positive side, the salesperson was genuinely nice and made a lot of promises upfront. To their credit, they were able to get me into a GX with about a one-month wait time, which was impressive given the market. The showroom itself is on the smaller side, but there is decent inventory available on the lot, so it doesn’t feel limited once you step outside. Unfortunately, things became frustrating after the sale. About four months in, the front wheels started squeaking, which I later learned was part of a large service bulletin. When I came in for an oil change, the system wasn’t reset properly — something the valet actually caught afterward, not the service team. At that visit, I was told a part would be available in a few weeks to address the wheel issue. Weeks went by. I happened to stop in later for an unrelated insurance question and asked the sales rep about the part. That’s when I was told it hadn’t even been ordered yet. After he escalated it, the part arrived within a week — which tells me the delay was due to miscommunication, not availability. That part is frustrating. Another disappointment was the courtesy drive. I was told someone could take me home since the service would take around three hours. I arrived at 8am, but when I asked about the driver, no one could find him — and no driver ever showed up. Overall, I’m still waiting to see how everything plays out, but so far the experience has been inconsistent. There are bright spots, especially with sales and inventory, but communication and follow-through need serious improvement. Mixed feelings all around — which feels odd for a luxury brand and a car at this price point.

In my experience, purchasing a vehicle is never as exciting and fun as it should be, however Mike Banko was my salesman and he reset the bar. He was very professional & very efficient. Darryl handled the finance in and out in under three hours very happy with the stellar service new customer for life. Keep up the great work gentlemen.
