“I cannot believe how this so-called GMC dealership treated me after purchasing a used truck. I bought in good faith, thinking it was a reliable CPO certified vehicle. I drove all the way up from San Diego and didn’t even test drive it before signing, trusting their advertising that it needed no work or repairs. Literally as soon as I drove off the lot, the nightmare began. Major mechanical problems, false advertising, and warranty issues that they refuse to stand behind. I sent a detailed email outlining everything and giving them a reasonable chance to make it right before taking legal action. Crickets. No response whatsoever. Zero accountability. Do they think they’re above the law? Newsflash — they’re not. I am now forced to file in Small Claims Court in San Diego because they won’t respond or resolve this like honest businesspeople. I will be pursuing every penny I’m owed plus court costs. I have all the documentation, emails, and evidence ready. Tom George, Ted Barnes and Jonathan Saillant — you should be ashamed. This is NOT how you run a business. I will be filing complaints with the BBB, DMV, California Attorney General, and posting everywhere I can. No one should have to go through this after spending their hard-earned money here. DO NOT BUY FROM THORSON GMC PASADENA. Save yourself the headache, stress, and money. “I took my brand new 2025 truck to Thorson Motor Center for its first oil change, and I couldn’t be more disappointed. When I picked it up, there were smudge spots and greasy fingerprints all over the driver side fender, hood and inside the door. Completely unacceptable for a new vehicle or any vehicle. It looked worse leaving the service department than when I dropped it off. If this is how they handle a simple oil change, I’d hate to see how they treat larger repairs. I expected much more care and professionalism, especially from a dealership. I won’t be returning and definitely wouldn’t recommend Thorson Motor Center to anyone who values their vehicle’s condition. Also, included in my first service was the DEF to be filled, which was untouched. I tried contacting management multiple times but received nothing but a run around and nasty attitude. I eventually spoke with J. Derby and emailed her pictures of the truck. I still have yet to hear from them. Apparently, customer service is non existent after they sell you a vehicle.”
