“If you come here for service, avoid Ricky Holland if at all possible! I took my car in today for an oil change and I can honestly say I’ve never been treated so poorly. He didn’t communicate much when I dropped it off, just asked me to sign… I had to ask what I was signing for. My 4 kids and I went to sit in the dealership to wait and about 10 minutes later I got a text link about the inspection. I was pleased that it seemed to be going quicker than planned. About 50 minutes later the kids were antsy and I went to see how much longer it was going to be. I approached Ricky’s desk and waited, he didn’t acknowledge me. I assumed he was in the middle of something when he said without looking away from the computer “did you get my text?” I said, about the inspection, yes. He said “you have to approve or deny the items on the ticket or your ticket stays in limbo.” I said oh, I didn’t know that. His response was “yes, it says that on the bottom of your ticket. That’s why your car has been sitting done forever”. I was in shock. I asked if he would have come to the waiting room to see if I got the message? He said he was too busy and they were understaffed. But I had seen the guy he was working with come back and talk to people multiple times! He then handing me my keys and told me I was set. My four kids and I then wandered the lot looking for our car. I got the text about my car being done after we left. Again, avoid Ricky if you don’t want to be left sitting in the dealership because he didn’t want to walk to the waiting room. It’s stressful enough taking kids with you to get your car serviced… a rude employee is the icing on the tough cake.”

“I purchased a new Nissan Kicks a little over a year and a half ago for my wife, from Ken Garff Nissan in Orem. A couple of weeks ago I was taking it in for standard scheduled service at the dealership, and was making a left hand turn off from University Parkway, with a green light turn arrow when suddenly another car, recklessly driven, flew through the red light east bound, and t-boned me with such impact force that it flipped me upside down in the Kicks. Nearly every airbag in the vehicle was deployed and I was surprised to find that I only had a badly skinned up left arm, probably from the airbag, and a few bruises on my left hip and thigh. The witnesses who had gathered around were surprised to find me army crawling out of the passenger side window, and thought I could hear people cheering as I arose to my feet. I can very well say that the safety features on our Kicks may have saved my life, and prevented serious injury. The responders (LEs and EMTs) told me that it’s not very often that they see someone crawl out of a rollover crash that severe. The police determined that the person who ran the red light was 100% responsible for the crash, and her insurance has accepted 100% liability. We will soon be visiting Ken Garff Nissan for a replacement vehicle.”

“So we showed up for what we thought our appointment was for Saturday 27th at 8:30am. The appointment was set up wrong by 1 of the employees I had spoken to the week before. He had set it up for Friday the day before. When we showed up to the dealership and waited cause there were 2 customers in front of us and nobody behind us. We were greeted with hi what are you here for. We explained to him that we were there for an oil change and to have a battery test done because we are having to jump start the battery the past couple of mornings. He said do you have an appointment. We said yes for 8:30. He said ooo it looks like your appointment was set for yesterday and you missed it. We explained to him that 1 of the employees here set the appointment for us and we would never pick a Friday cause of work. He came back and said we'll I'm sorry but we can't fit you in cause we are completely booked. We drove all the way from Eagle Mountain to be turned away. There was nobody behind us waiting. He didn't even try and reason with us like hey if you come back in a hour or 2 we will have space to fit you in or hey let me take your number stay around town and if someone cancels there appointment we will call you. So we decided to take our business somewhere else and they were super kind and fit us in right away. Unfortunately my battery is still under warranty with Nissan so we had to go back about 2 hours later to were the same tech was like oooo we have room for you now. Would you like the oil change done. We said no. We already got it done but we still need the battery tested. We have had it test at 2 other locations and it was really low on power and the the other companies explained to us that you should have your battery replaced before the warranty runs out. We'll Nissan did there battery test which took 3 hours. Half way through the tech came in and said well the battery is on the second phase which usually means you will need a new battery. We were like ok. He said he will start getting everything ready for the battery to be replaced. Another hour passed and he came in with a piece of paper showing us that our battery was perfectly fine and that they disconnected something on my vehicle so the battery would continue to charge non stop. So your telling me that you have to mess with my vehicle and disconnect stuff from my vehicle with out my authorization and for my car and battery to function properly. We left there very disappointed and probably will never go back again unless the battery is still having because and only because of the warranty. I had 2 other places say to replace the battery even you at Nissan said the battery will probably have to be replaced but in the end you disconnected something from MY vehicle for the battery to function properly. Very poor customer service on your end.”

“I made a deal over the phone, the saleswoman assured me that the car would be cleaned and ready to go. When I got there I was deeply disappointed because this was the dirtiest car I have ever purchased from a dealership, I finally said I would just ignore it. 250 miles later I want to add windshield fluid and I notice that the coolant is below Low Level. I will give you 3 stars only because the sales process was smooth. I don't think you are too serious. Anyway I will not be working with you in the future. Thank you!”

“I have now purchased three vehicles from Ken Garff Nissan in Orem. I won't ever go anywhere else. They go above and beyond to get you into a great vehicle. Billy is an amazing sales man. He is honest and doesn't play games. He truly cares about integrity and making the process quick and easy. Joshuah Hernandez takes the time to make sure you understand every detail before signing paperwork. I really appreciated that a lot. Amazing staff and people.”
