“When we first walked into Gordon Chevrolet, Justin, our sales associate, was patient and helpful while answering my many questions. We had expressed interest in purchasing a specific truck, and the dealership kindly placed the vehicle on hold for us while we worked through finalizing the sale of our RV first. We really appreciated that they were willing to do this without requiring any type of security deposit or pressure to commit immediately. Before moving forward with the purchase, we did extensive research on the vehicle’s market value as well as the value of our trade-in vehicle. As is fairly typical with vehicle purchases, there were a few rounds of negotiations regarding the trade-in value and final purchase price. We shared documentation showing comparable vehicle values along with records of our trade-in’s maintenance history and upgrades, and we were also clear about our firm budget. It took three rounds of offers before we were able to reach numbers that were both fair and within our budget, but the team ultimately worked with us to get there. Once we reached that point, we felt comfortable moving forward with the purchase. After purchasing the truck, we did experience some frustration due to an issue with the vehicle’s internal computer system, which we later learned is a fairly common issue. It took some time and effort to work through, but the problem was eventually addressed and resolved with the help of Vinny in the service department, who assisted us during that process. One thing we truly appreciated was the support we received when we had trouble connecting our RV to the truck’s advanced towing package. The team at Gordon Chevrolet went out of their way to coordinate with the Camping World located next door to help troubleshoot the issue. That level of effort on our behalf was genuinely above-and-beyond customer service. While we generally find the process of working through sales negotiations difficult—especially in commission-based environments—we ultimately had a good outcome and are satisfied with both the resolution of the issues and the truck itself.”
