Coggin Deland Honda

“Brought my crv for an oil change. They did a so-called " free" inspection, noting a few extras that I declined, due to their extraordinary high prices. Two of the items were a cabin filter change and engine filter change. Since I've done both of these in the past, I decided to buy the filters at a parts store to replace myself. All four screws were reinstalled on the engine air filter so tight, I cannot loosen them; even with a power drill! 1 star isn't low enough of a rating for this place! Steer clear of their service center! Update: Jerry, the Service Manager, called me to see what could be done to rectify.this. Since I live out of area, he offered to have an affiliate service center closer to.home replace the engine oil filter free of charge.This was done yesterday. Thank you for living up to the Honda name, Jerry at Deland. My 1 star was updated to 3 stars. One star deducted for having to go thru this, and a 2nd for the 3-hour turn-around when my vehicle was in the shop. Nothing short of an overhaul should take 3 hours Plus the shop time in Deland for the oil change, their techs must get paid by the hour, not the completed service.”

“Kristian S. Appreciation Review- Came in looking to buy a new car and was in a hurry because I had lost my previous car. I was greeted by Kristian, who was very welcoming, and we sat down to talk about what I was looking for. After I decided which car I wanted to look at, he brought it around and allowed me to test drive it. While explaining the features he was very knowledgeable and showed me all of the features that came with the car. When the test drive was over, I walked around the car and explained how I was curious how the car would look tinted, and Kristian went above and beyond and offered to bring his own personal car around and allowed me to sit in it and see what the car is like tinted from the inside and outside. He could have just told me it would be darker or something, but even after I told him he didn't have to, he insisted on bringing it around for me.
