My family had a very disappointing experience with Toyota of New Orleans. My mother purchased a vehicle from them in November 2025 after being assured by their finance manager, Kevin O'Brien that it was a good, reliable car. He was also supposed to be a friend, but that ended up being false. Only about two weeks later, the vehicle began leaking oil and experiencing mechanical problems. When my mom contacted the dealership, the Fixed Operations Director, Travis Bath agreed to help and had her sign a written agreement stating that Toyota of New Orleans would cover half of the repair cost and she would pay the other half. She agreed and signed the document in good faith. Unfortunately, communication from the dealership was extremely slow, often taking a week or longer to respond. After my mom left a review expressing frustration about everything she has gone through so far, the dealership suddenly told her they would no longer honor the written agreement and would not pay anything toward the repairs. It is very concerning that a dealership would put an agreement in writing and then back out of it simply because a customer left an honest review about their experience. At this point, no resolution has been offered. Because of this situation and the written agreement that was not honored, we are currently seeking legal counsel regarding the matter. I strongly recommend that anyone doing business here make sure every promise and agreement is fully documented and protected. Attached is the agreement the Fixed operations director wrote out and made her sign, and stapled his buisness card to.

I received fast friendly service. It usually takes most of the day and part of the next day for me to purchase a car. This was the first time that I was in and out in less than 4 hours. Love the service and my vehicle.

Very poor service visit. What should have been quick 15-20min oil change and tire rotation took an hour, even though scheduled. Then service dept pushed unnecessary maintenance services of $1k on a vehicle I bought new less than a year ago but this was st visit off warranty. Finally, leaving lot had a low oil pressure alarm because the oil change wasn’t done right - had to turn around on EV mode to try and avoid permanent damage to the motor (remains to be seen), and service staff declined request for comp-ing the incorrect oil service. Will not be returning.

I had a very positive experience working with this dealership on my purchase of a brand-new RAV4 Hybrid XLE. Michael and Terry in sales were phenomenal to work with. The pricing was transparent, and the transaction was smooth. Very happy customer!

I wish I didn’t have to write another review, but what happened next was genuinely dangerous. After picking up my truck from Toyota of New Orleans, I immediately started getting warning messages like “Braking Power Low” and “Parking Brake Malfunction.” The truck did not feel safe to drive at all. I took it straight to another repair shop, and that’s when things got alarming. They found that the left rear brake pads were missing, which caused damage to the caliper and rotor. I was told this could have led to a complete brake failure if I had continued driving. I want to be clear — I didn’t touch the brakes myself, and the truck went directly from the dealership to another shop. Finding missing brake pads after a dealership visit is unacceptable and dangerous. Everyone I dealt with was polite, but politeness doesn’t make up for releasing a vehicle in an unsafe condition. This could have ended very badly. I hope management takes this seriously and looks into how this happened, because no customer should ever be put in this situation.
