“We had an exceptional experience at CarMax Norco today! After purchasing our van from CarMax Buena Park in 2012 and enjoying it for 13 wonderful years, we decided it was time to sell. We received our quote on January 12th and took advantage of their express service option, which allowed us to upload all necessary documents ahead of time. Our appointment was scheduled for 11:00 AM, and remarkably, we were completely finished by 11:15! Denise assisted us throughout the process and had everything prepared and ready to go. If you're looking to sell your vehicle, this is definitely the place to go! The experience was quick, easy, and straightforward, with a fair trade-in value and a genuinely pleasant atmosphere. Everyone we encountered--from the front desk staff to Denise--was incredibly friendly and professional. There was no haggling or back-and-forth, just a simple and efficient transaction. Thank you, CarMax, for being an outstanding and trustworthy company! We couldn't be happier with our experience.”

“We were interested in selling our used Lincoln Navigator and had already received a quote from CarMax Norco by email but I hadn’t made an appointment yet. We were in the area and decided to drop in to see if we wanted to deal with CarMax Norco. When we walked in, Patrick greeted us with a big smile, a nice handshake and a gentle voice. He looked up our offer and was ready to buy our car in minutes with the offer they originally sent. No haggling, no hidden fees, no BS! The problem we THOUGHT we had by not having the title to the car (it was at home in another state), was no big deal to Patrick and CarMax. We didn’t have to go stand in line at the DMV and try to get a copy of the title. Instead, we sat in the comfort of their air conditioned showroom and signed the required forms Patrick had printed up for us. Needless to say, we highly recommend CarMax Norco and Patrick Ferryman. Oh, and by the way, they paid for our ride home on Lyft!!”

Everyone was so friendly and helpful and all my paperwork was ready when I got there! The process was simple and seamless! Recommend CarMax for your buying or selling car needs!!”

“I paid to transfer a Charger from Fresno to Norco, and upon receiving it I found a car that had a lot of unacceptable cosmetic flaws. Delaminating windshield, significant scratches on the rear, paint fading badly on the rear spoiler. I pointed these out to the sales rep and she was friendly enough about it. She said she'd talk to a manager and see what they could do. After discussion, the manager said they could not do anything at all. Despite the car being priced $4k above bluebook and having flaws that were not disclosed to me, they still were totally unwilling to do anything for me. It is what it is, sometimes this sort of thing happens, however, what made me angry is that the rep then pulled up the car on her screen and showed me a tab right next to the "Exterior" and "Interior" tabs that said "Imperfections," and this is where all of these flaws were pointed out. (see photos of where it should be) This tab did not appear on my phone, and the rep then searched for almost 5 minutes trying to find that tab, with no luck. They still insisted that I should have known about these flaws. At first I thought maybe it just didn't show on mobile (which is still no excuse, because they allow you to do the complete purchase of the car on mobile), but when I got home and looked at the car on my computer, that tab is still missing. So CarMax has a different version of the website that only their reps can see that shows these flaws, and they are not allowing customers to see it. Super shady. Only gave two stars because they agreed to refund the transfer fee I paid. But I will be avoiding CarMax in the future.”

“I recently purchased a 2022 Silverado 1500 with a diesel engine here at CarMax Norco less than a month ago. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. Despite being assured the oil and filters were at 100%, they were actually between 40-60%. When I inquired, I was told by a representative named Josh that this was due to the vehicle sitting on the lot "too long" and that "Chevrolets do that." I find that hard to believe, but no technicians there will actually speak to you. After experiencing a check engine light and auto start issues, the truck was in their care for 5 days and returned with ongoing problems now making it difficult to drive after picking it up. They originally told me to continue driving it, even though the check engine light was on and I did not feel safe. After picking it up today, I was told the engine light was an "anomoly," however the truck clearly is struggling to move down the street. This has been a frustrating experience and now I have to cancel my plans tomorrow and take it to be serviced again. The videos shows the sounds and even how the auto start shuts off on its own. Update 4/30/2025 After speaking with customer relations, I was repeatedly cut off and couldn’t get a full sentence out, despite the seriousness of my concerns. It’s incredibly disappointing to be dismissed and silenced—especially after being placed in a dangerous situation. I expected support and professionalism, but instead I was met with disregard and frustration. The truck is now repaired though, Mark Christopher Chevrolet took care of the negligence of this store.”
