“Was quite a good experience all together. They even shipped car. My only fault was on a 60k car purchase it could have been cleaned better...realy dirty. These pics are after I had it professionally cleaned”

“Not quite sure where to begin, other than to say the service department staff is absolutely top-notch. We’ve purchased many cars from CarMax over the years and will continue to do so, especially because of this experience.
I had an issue with the turbo in my Mercedes, and while I was fortunate to have purchased the extended warranty, the warranty company initially gave me quite a bit of pushback. CarMax not only stepped in, but truly went above and beyond. They stayed in constant contact with me and ultimately got the issue resolved.
Betsy, the service manager, is one of the kindest and most helpful people I’ve ever worked with. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her customers as well as her team, which shows in how professional and polished the entire staff is.
Bryan F., one of their customer advisors, was outstanding. He stayed in touch with me consistently and did everything possible to move things along in a timely manner. He was extremely gracious and truly a pleasure to work with. During a brief time off, he personally called me to let me know, connected me with Reggie to ensure continuity, and even continued checking emails while he was away. The minute Bryan returned to the office, he called me immediately to follow up. Reggie was also wonderful and kept me updated every step of the way through both calls and emails.
I couldn’t be happier with the level of service I received and would highly recommend this team again and again.”

“The staff at CarMax was polite and professional, and the process itself was straightforward. I didn’t feel pressured, and everyone treated me respectfully.
That said, I was a bit disappointed with the lack of flexibility. I came in genuinely interested in a vehicle from their inventory and shared that I had received a stronger trade-in offer from Carvana. I simply asked if they could review it or possibly match it, as I preferred to do business with CarMax.
Unfortunately, the offer wasn’t reviewed at all, and I was told very directly that the price was final and that I should go with Carvana if I wanted that deal. While I respect their no-negotiation model, the interaction felt somewhat dismissive and gave the impression that retaining my business wasn’t a priority.
Overall, CarMax is a good option if you value simplicity and a fixed-price experience, but it may not be ideal if you’re hoping for flexibility or competitive matching on trade-in offers.”

“This is the fifth car I have purchased from CarMax. They offer a huge inventory of cars in very good condition. The process is easy and stress free. Each purchase seems to go smoother than the one before . It truly is the hassle free experience they promise!! This 2024 Mustang GT CS (California Special) is the most recent one and I couldn’t be happier !!”
