“I Absolutely would recommend California Motors Direct in the city of Montclair. Esteban was our sales rep and he went above and beyond the call of duty. He kept his promise and made sure we were completely satisfied and got us the best possible rate he could. My daughter was our cosigner and she didn't feel like coming so Esteban Followed us home over 60 miles So she could sign the paperwork. Who does that??? Esteban at California Motors Direct, that's who!!! Like I said over and beyond!!!! Thank you so much Esteban ❤️”

“I’ve been looking for a BMW & California Motors Direct in Montclair, happened to Have the BMW that I liked. ( Note: this is my 1st Time out of the ‘3 BMW’s that I’ve Purchased, that I purchase Outside of a BMW Dealer ) & Let me Share, after the PURCHASE was MADE., clearly now I know that there is a Difference when Purchasing from a ‘BMW Dealer’ vs Purchasing from a ‘Non BMW Dealer’ (aka California Motors Direct in Montclair ) I purchased My BMW the Evening of Saturday 9/20/25 so for Obvious Reasons ( aka Cashiers Ck not being on Hand & the Car having to be Washed & Filled up with Gas etc ) the BMW led into Monday with the Car being Delivered. Our Sales Rep was Off the Following Day, ( who I won’t Name in this Review for Now ) Our Sales Rep Informed he would take Care in Getting the Car Prepped (washed & the ‘2nd Battery’ being at least somewhat partially Charged ( being it’s a Half Gas & Half Electric BMW ) on Monday when he Returned to Work. Upon Monday, the Day of Delivery… I get a Text from the ( Sales Rep )informing the following: you see BELOW ( Note- I copied & pasted the Text that You will be Reading Below ): Sales Rep … ‘ The detail is taking longer than expected, told them to take their time and do it nice.’. ( end of Text ) From the ABOVE Text, NOTHING of what supposed to be Done was Done ?? Car was Delivered Dirty ( no Wash was Done ) ( I took a pic of my Finger showing the Dirt from the Car) amongst NUMEROUS other Pics showing the Contrary of what the Sales Rep had said was Done. In fact, in Addition to the Above… The Car now was Delivered with a ‘ZERO’ charge to the Electric Battery., as well as NOW the Car having a ‘Sensor Light On’… in which the Sales Rep saw the Light On. but still Chose to Deliver My BMW with Sensor Light On ? ( REALLY- small things as Such SHOULD HAVE been TAKEN CARE OF PRIOR to the DELIVERY of the Car) ?? The more I checked the Car.. the More Bothered I became as the Only thing Done was Filling Up the Gas Tank., which is the Norm when Selling a Car. @ this Time, I told the Sales Rep…. I didn’t need a Callback from a Mgr apologizing etc since it was Pointless. I just wanted my Sales Rep to Share My Pictures to the Mgr so they can see Nothing was Done to the Car upon Delivery Well, to My Contrary Request, I get a call from a Mgr who is Joshua… I vented to him ( as Expected ) & he asked me to Take the Car back so they can Wash etc & I said Montclair was Not around the Corner from Me & just didn’t feel like having to take the Car back so they can do with what should have been done PRIOR to the DELIVERY. Joshua, did Apologize but led on by SAYING the Following BELOW : Quote- I’m reading we gave You a Discount on the Car, I questioned ‘What Discount’? Joshua replied & said., You didn’t PURCHASE any of the ‘ADD-ONS’ & we DIDN’T make any $$$ Out of You because YOU DECLINED ALL the ADD-ONS so that’s considered a DISCOUNT (???) Wow.. Very Professional & Great Customer Service Joshua ?? With the Above said… I hope those Ppl considering to Purchase from this Dealer, don’t get the Service I Did or at least Don’t get Serviced from the People I was Serviced by. ! & Note- You as a Customer. do have the Option to Saying ‘No’ to ALL the UNNECESSARY ADD ONS that they try FORCING on You to BUY.”
