“Though I did not purchase my car here,
Since I relocated in August I opted to come to this location to service my car instead of driving back to Westchester. I’ll start off by saying I’m now on my 3rd Acura Lease and this last lease so far is having me strongly considering not returning to Acura after my lease is up. Since starting my new lease in July I’ve brought my car here for service 3 times. The experience alone has not been comparable to the experiences I’ve had at my former dealership in Westchester where I never had to call to find out what was going on with my car, they were always proactive in communicating and they had a car wash on site which leads me to the complaint on my latest visit to the service department. I decided to finally use my wash barcode that was provided to me during one of my last service appointments here over the weekend and who knew that a simple car wash would leave me with a $1700 repair bill after I discovered the fin covering the antenna was no longer on my car after the car wash was completed. Ironically, this is the one and only time I’ve been offered a loaner vehicle while my car, must be a pre-requisite to spend over a certain amount in order to qualify for a loaner. And of course Acura is pointing the finger at Wash Co for this damage. As being in this area with a young child I cannot be without my car so I’m having to pay the expense of having the car repaired but I really question how they got to a cost of over $1700 for a part that appears to be anywhere between $80-$280 online. If I had time to spare and could be without my car for a few days to shop around for other options I definitely would have done so. The repair cost seem to be extremely exaggerated here aside from the fact that Acura HQ is attempting to not stand behind the quality of their vehicles in this case of what should be expected foreseeable use of a car.”

“Outstanding 2106 RDX timing belt and water pump replacement experience. The service manager was incredible!! The job was done perfectly though when the car came home we saw leaking coolant. I called Middletown Friendly Acura and they immediately sent a flatbed to our home nearly 1 hour away, free of charge. The quickly inspected the vehicle providing several updates via phone call until issue was identified. Luckily there was no issue the work was flawless but some coolant pooled up in chassis from original repair. They cleaned the underbody and inspected several more times until 100% sure there was no issue. We picked up the car and everything was perfect!! Amazing experience! They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and repairs were perfect. We will always bring our Acuras to Middletown Friendly Acura. Side note: Hollywood towing was also incredible, on time, called cell in route, super clean and professional. Would use hollywood towing again!!”
