ā€œI had the pleasure of working with Renee for my first ever Jeep Grand Cherokee. She met with me right away and was a pleasure to work with from the start. She went above and beyond to help me with my new Jeep and I couldn’t be more grateful! Thank you to Renee and to Scott the financial manager!ā€

ā€œOur experience when dealing with Deacon Jeep in Mayfield Village on the purchase of our preowned 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee was absolutely perfect from start to finish. I called last Monday to check availability and spoke to Jeff Deacon. 2 hours later, I showed up with my husband to test drive the vehicle. Jeff had the car washed, and parked up front for me to drive. I drove the car and with in a few miles, I knew the car was a perfect fit for my daughter, a recent college grad who is starting nursing school. She needed something very safe and very reliable. After the test drive, I learned the suv was originally purchased at deacon, locally owned, and every service was done at deacon. My husband and I sat down with Jeff, negotiated a very fair deal, and purchased the suv and the extended mopar warranty in under an hour. We were able to trade in my daughter’s very old and tired ā€œclunkerā€ for a more than fair price. On Friday, my daughter met us at the dealership with her car, she drove the beautiful grand Cherokee, and was ecstatic to learn we already purchased the car. Jeff was awesome. He had the car detailed, full tank of gas and ready to go. He wasn’t scheduled to work that day, but came in anyway just to make sure we were happy. Everyone at the dealership was incredibly friendly and genuine. No pressure at all, no nonsense, and they went the extra mile to make the transaction easy and flawless. Deacon Jeep is a locally owned, small business with deep ties to the community. They care about their product and their relationships in the community. I’m not one to write reviews often but Deacon deserves to be recognized. Jeff is ethical, super kind, knowledgeable and honest. My daughter absolutely loves her ā€˜new to her’ jeep grand Cherokee, and we will definitely be purchasing more vehicles from Jeff Deacon in the future. I’ve owned an unusual amount of vehicles in my life and I know the difference between working with good and bad car dealers. Deacon Jeep in Mayfield Village is one of the best I’ve ever worked with when purchasing a vehicle.ā€

ā€œI leased my first brand-new truck here last year, and the whole process was incredibly easy. George helped me get into the vehicle, and the service department later handled a warranty repair quickly and efficiently. I’m still not sure whether I’ll buy out the lease or move into something more affordable, but I’d definitely like to work with them again if I can. Highly recommend this dealership. Thank you guys & happy new year.ā€

ā€œDishonest Practices, Unprofessional Service, and a Defective New Vehicle I've been a loyal Mopar customer for years. My wife and I have purchased 2 brand new Rams and 2 new Jeeps, and through my friend at Stellantis, have encouraged family members to buy 5 additional Mopars. That's why I'm so shocked by the completely unacceptable experience we've had with Deacon Chrysler and the defective Wagoneer they sold us. The unprofessionalism started the moment we walked in. Even with a price pre-negotiated, it took 2.5 hours to do the paperwork with our young kids waiting, largely because our sales rep was too new to answer basic questions about the process or the vehicle. It got worse. After we reached out to Stellantis for help, we were informed the vehicle had been put in service two months before we bought it, starting the warranty countdown without our knowledge. We also found out a manager had been driving it as a demo, putting over 500 miles on it which were not disclosed to us before we drove hours to see it. On our way home, we found deep scratches. The dealership’s first response was to deny it. Only after I sent them photos from their own website proving the damage was pre-existing did they admit it. Even then, their first offer was an insulting $300 after I spent my time traveling back and forth to a body shop to get a quote they requested me to obtain which came in at over $1500. When they finally agreed to do the repair, they gave us a loaner that reeked of smoke, which the sales manager admitted he knew about, and I had to buy and replace the cabin air filter myself with a promised reimbursement that never came even though I sent a copy of the receipt. Beyond the dealership's failures, the vehicle itself is full of problems: Safety Failures: A month in, the roof rack came loose and bolts fell off on the highway. We have also received our first safety recall notice last week. Mechanical Issues: The transmission is rough and jerks between gears daily. While another dealer told us this is "normal," it's an unpleasant driving experience and nothing like the smooth transmission in my 2021 Ram. (Which I believe is the same 8-speed unit.) Poor Performance: The gas mileage is awful, failing to meet its highway rating (the best I’ve managed on the highway is 17.2 mpg on a 24 mile round trip of which 20 were highway. It's rated for 23 mpg hwy). Though rated better, it performs worse than our old Lincoln Navigator and at least 20% worse than my Hemi Ram. Bad Quality: The carpeting in the third row is poorly installed, leaving a visible gap. Here is the bottom line: We were sold a used vehicle as "new." In the first three weeks, it had 2,000 miles on it and three months of its factory warranty were already gone. It's had a part fall off on the highway and is already subject to a safety recall. We even tried escalating to Stellantis corporate, but they said we needed to work with the local dealership. I asked who I needed to speak to privately and received no response. We bought a new car for peace of mind and have gotten a nightmare. I'm writing this public review as a last resort to get the General Manager's attention. Given the misrepresentation, the safety issues, and the sheer number of problems, we are asking for a comprehensive extended warranty. We need to have some confidence that we won't be paying out-of-pocket for future repairs on a vehicle that has been defective from day one. I am planning to replace my Ram truck and had another Ram picked out before we had these issues. Whether I buy another Ram or just cut our losses and move my family's business away from the brand entirely depends on how you resolve this.ā€

ā€œNot the best place to go, or the worst place to go. I picked this place because of the ratings. The ratings are rated too high, but it's a 2 out of 5. I had some work done from an insurance claim. The work started off good till, I had some missing bolts from the engine component, where work was done at. I asked for the bolts to be replaced and as, a courtesy a oil change for my inconvenience. They said no to the oil change at first. After coming in and they saw that the bolts were missing. They then proceeded to offer a courtesy oil change. But then, after the work was done. They act like the missing wasn't their fault, then again I ended up seeing some clips missing, form the air filter component, after walking back in. I talked to the service tech he said they couldn't do anything else about it.ā€
