“I DO NOT recommend Manteca Ford, especially for commercial, work vehicles or ANY major repairs.
My Ford Transit was brought in for an overheating issue that occurred only while towing. Over the course of more than a year, this dealership replaced a transmission 2x’s and two engines, yet failed to resolve the original problem. The overheating was finally corrected only after the radiator was replaced, confirming that was the root cause. Which I thought was the issue originally!
After the first engine replacement, I picked up my van and immediately noticed it had only 8 miles to empty on the fuel gauge. This was after they had test driven it. The vehicle was returned to me without being fueled, which I found completely irresponsible and unprofessional. I barely made it to a gas station without running out of fuel, which is unacceptable immediately following a major engine replacement.
After fueling up and within minutes of leaving the dealership, the van lost power and shut down on the 120 freeway. Instead of towing it, I was instructed to drive it back in limp mode, which was extremely unsafe. I was later charged for follow-up repairs that occurred immediately after their engine installation! Quite the coincidence huh? 🤔
The vehicle continued to suffer from power loss, fluid leaks, overheating, and repeated breakdowns. During a later out-of-state breakdown, another Ford dealership documented installation-related issues. That dealership also identified exhaust/EGR components that were old, soot-covered, and reinstalled during both engine replacements, rather than being replaced. In good faith, these are parts that reasonably should have been replaced during an engine replacement, especially after two separate installs. Complete idiotic negligence!
Manteca Ford has refused to reimburse me for these costs and other out-of-pocket expenses directly related to the faulty repairs and has since stopped responding to my communications, even direct text messages to Phil Waterford himself!
I now have an active case open with Ford Pro / Ford Motor Company and am submitting full documentation for corporate review.
If you rely on your vehicle for work or towing, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere!! Go to Stockton or Tracy, they have competent technicians and care about their business and their customers.”

“My wife and I went to Manteca Ford to see if I could trade in my vehicle for a new one and our credit was not good and all I could think of was it’s not gonna happen but I was simply amazed that Brandyn and Mikel actually made it happen. They were able to get me a great deal on my 2025 Ford Ranger and we couldn’t be more grateful. All of the staff were so kind and respectful and did not try to take advantage of us. Their professionalism is outstanding and they really care for their customers. I absolutely love my new Truck and will be a long-term customer for years with Manteca Ford. Keep up the great work!!!”

“2025 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands - Ruby RED - Purchased a new Bronco Sport for my wife which she fell in love with. The staff was amazing.
