“Over the last two decades, I have purchased multiple cars and had them serviced exclusively at Manchester Honda. While the Service Center is still top notch, I was extremely dissatisfied with the Sales Department. Went in last week to purchase a new car from Diana. She was less than accommodating and repeatedly insulting. Repeatedly told me I didn’t need to drive a vehicle before I purchased it, attempted to charge me for products that are included with the car such as undercoat protection and all weather mats, and made us go through the loan process just to get money off the car. The initial car we chose was slightly damaged and they refused to repair it. We then chose another option and they wanted to add 130 miles to the new car they didn’t have in stock with zero compensation. Was told it was unreasonable to ask that the new car be towed instead of driven from another state. When I finally canceled the sale and contacted the sales manager, John, he was rude and dismissive. He was honestly exasperated he had to speak to me. Wished me luck buying somewhere else and simply didn’t care. Took my business to Executive Honda in Wallingford, and I received a better deal from a courteous and professional salesperson. Under new ownership, Manchester Honda Sales Department is a huge disappointment.”

“Manchester Honda was a very nice facility. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. This was the first time in 20 years I have had to get a new car and I couldnt be happier with the whole experience. James Palmer was my agent and as soon as I met him he felt like a old friend. His personality, enthusiasm, love, and authenticity really allowed me to connect on a human level with him. Within minuets I really felt like he was a friend. My wife and I must have laughed with him the whole time... it was actually one of the most fun experiences I have had in an environment like that. He answered all of our questions, didnt pressure us at all and just allowed the everything to unfold organically. He was truly amazing and so was Manchester Honda. I went in a stranger and left a friend and part of the family. I will highly recommend this dealership to anyone. It was an amazing experience!”

“I was up visiting my daughter from out of town. I noticed little black specs all over the of chrome front grill of the 2022 Honda HRV we co-own. There are zero dings anywhere else on the body surrounding the grill. The surface of the grill is smooth and the chrome on top of the headlight next to the grill has zero imperfections, as scene in the picture. I decided to take it to Manchester Honda to get some direction on making a claim.
I pull up to the garage door of the service department and the door opens. Not being familiar with this dealership and zero vehicles parked inside waiting, I stop next to the service advisor to my left and he gives me attitude before I can even say, “hello”, he says,” pull forward”. I pull forward as instructed, get out of the vehicle and same guy that told me to pull forward has his head buried in his desk. He doesn’t look up at me. So I walk over to the other two service advisors on the other side, to ask for help and one of them looks up and says, “you need to wait by your vehicle “. How about, “Hello, we’ll be right with you”, for starters. I felt like I was at a prison. They have no idea why I’m even there at this point.
The service advisor( cowboys fan) walks over to me completely disinterested in my concern about the vehicle. He basically blows me off and decides for Honda Corporation that my trim issue isn’t worthy of his time.
As the primary owner of this Honda(first time I’ve ever owned a Honda)with my daughter, I drove away from that dealership very angry with my entire experience with their service department. It’s as if they can’t be bothered with customers.
As I’m driving away, I thinking there is no way this is how customer service is normally at Honda service departments. So I decide to stop down the street at Liberty Honda, Service Department to try and get some direction on the issue with the grill. I’m on guard at this point. I pull in the garage after the door opens. There are signs in this garage, saying “pull forward “ and “stop here”. After I follow the clearly marked signs and park the vehicle, I’m immediately greeted with a smiling face of a service advisor. I show her my concerns with the grill. She looks closely at all the defects and asks me to give her a minute to talk to her supervisor. She comes back to me and asks if one of there guys can take photos to file a claim with Honda. They take the photos while I wait in the waiting area. Five minutes later she walks up to me, hands me the keys and says they made an official claim and they will get back to me when they hear back from Honda.

“Just purchased my 3rd car from Manchester Honda. There is a reason I always go back them, there is no behind the scenes, ‘speak to my manager’, slimy people to be seen here! Dan was very helpful and made things extremely easy and smooth during the process. Also very easy to talk to in case anyone is nervous about the process! Highly recommend!!”
